DD Thursday! What's on your menu?
 
B: black coffee
D: tilapia cooked with tomatoes, capers and garlic; riced cauliflower
S: chicken breast; romaine salad w/light dressing

about 400 cals, so if I want an iced coffee w/half and half, I'm good lol.

Today, all I am having is 2 tsp. of cod liver oil, 4 oz. of canned wild caught salmon and a little over a tablespoon of my homemade mayo.

And lots of water!

I did make a coffee with 1tsp kerrygold butter, 1tsp coconut oil and 2tsp half and half because I have zero energy today.
So that should get my calories around 470 for the day.

Coffee w/ creamer

The HB egg & laughing cow wedge seemed to work really well for me last time, so that's what I'll be having around 3pm again today.

Might have to stop by the grocery store to pick up some frozen veggies or a salad to go with dinner. Hmmmm... or maybe a Wendy's chili & side salad...?

subtotal: 200, and hungry. :( I can do without and will, but probably will go up to 500 today.

I posted this in the DD recipes thread, but still no responses. Can anyone tell me how to melt LC cheese? I've added it to many recipes, but cannot get it to melt properly...water doesn't help.

Sorry, Cindy, that spreadable cheese, not sure it melts! - when I want a more creamy type feel, I use 1 T of sour cream for 30c

I have been MIA for a few days. Super super busy!

Cindy, I meant to answer you on your other post but I must have gotten side tracked. I take mine out of the fridge an hour or so before trying to melt it. Then I just mush and stir it around in the cabbage mixture. If there's a little broth left in the pan, it kind of all mixes together and "melts". It's not perfect, but it sure is good!

Yeah, it doesn't really melt and ends up tasting watery instead of creamy after I add it to cabbage. I guess I could use 2-3 wedges, but may as well use something else for that many calories lol. I think I'll try a T of sour cream. Thanks ladies!

I did read a suggestion to try a teaspoon of oil with it to help with melting...

Egg was rotten. :mad:
So that makes 52 calories so far for today (coffee & tea, both with creamer).
But I'm good with that. I was hungry this morning, but had to sort of talk myself into the planned "snack" by this afternoon. Nice to have that hungry feeling just go away!

I'm hoping to run/walk after work today, so I'll probably have a string cheese or something when I get home.

D: Crackers and laughing cow cheese (105c)

Off to the gym today so I will most definitely need an after gym snack. Unsure of what right now.

L: 2 cups sliced raw button mushrooms with hot sauce (30)
D: 140g extra firm tofu, sliced red bell pepper raw with lemon juice and salt (190)

Snk: apricot (25), 7" carrot (30 cal)

Total 342. Goal max is 351. With that 9 calorie deficit, I might sniff the stick of butter. ;)

Probably going to do 2 oz of chicken w/angel hair cole slaw, 1/2 c. chicken broth and 1 T sour cream for dinner. It doesn't really leave room for a coconut bar, but that never stopped me before. :D

Ok, no creamy food for me on DDs, except coffee. :D I "wasted" a T of sour cream on my cabbage and couldn't taste it. Extra 30 calories for nothing lol.

No after gym snack tonight. Just trying to drink water. So that puts me at 219 calories for the day.
