DOWN DAY FRIDAY...WHAT'S TO EAT?

Started the thread because I want to have a successful DD.

On a DD it is more comforting to start eating later in the day.
Not hungry when I wake up after an UPPD.

EggBeaters 20 cal and egg 70 cal Mexican omelet with LF cheese 45 cal
red peppers, onion. Coffee with 1tbs. HWC 50cal.

Chili Lime Chicken Patty 150 cal.
1 large Ortega green pepper
on bed of lettuce with melted LF cheese 45 cal.
Slice of tomato.

About 390 cals. Will deal with what's left for snack time.

Probably a soup of some kind. Have some home made chicken stock
in the freezer and Shirataki noodles, celery hearts and stuff.

Will be traveling tonight (to our cottage up north), so unsure what dinner will be...
I might just take some frozen chicken tenders with me and cook some of those with some veggies when we get there.

I'll have more coffee & creamer before going to bed too...

It's FRIDAY! YEAH for FRIDAY! Friday's are always tough DD's for me. It's the mentality of celebrating Friday, I think! I'm a mess!

Barbo - I too want to have a successful DD. I have done extremely well on M/W and wish it to go through to today!

Dottie - enjoy your day!

Scarlett - Enjoy the cottage, it sounds lovely!

Plan:
cottage cheese/tomato 65c
deli ham/snap peas/laugh cow 90c
2 eggs 140c
protein shake 180c
tonight: brocc/rice soup 100c

This may need to be switched up as hunger kicks in, but this is the plan! 575c would be a GREAT DD for me!

Greek yoghurt and zucchini casserole and hopefully not much else. I'm going to keep as busy as possible this morning, and put off eating as long as I can...

Nothing but coffee and hope to stay with just that as long as possible. I still have turkey chili that I made on Wednesday night in the fridge and hope to have that later, maybe two meals.

I feel ya Monica! Stupid DD Friday's.

I've been having higher DDs on Friday and Sunday when needed so we'll see how today pans out.

L: Chobani pineapple yogurt and plum
D: Tuna on Deli Select Bread

Lili, have you tried Noosa yogurt? I've tried honey and mango, and the honey is to die for! Probably only a UD treat, but could possibly be a meal for a DD. OMG it's the best yogurt I have ever put in my mouth. I want to try all the flavors now. They sell it at Target, and one other grocery store here. It's Australian.

Coffee w/ half n half and some delicious sf almond syrup X 2 (about 150 calories)
Sugar free suisse mocha for dinner (about 60 calories)
Maybe some turkey pepperoni before bed (about 80 calories)

I have tried it and I don't like it. I'm very picky, but thanks for the suggestion. If I want a low DD I'll eat Dannon and if I just want to be satisfied I eat my Chobani.

A few years ago I went off dairy for three months and since then only certain Dairy products taste good to me. Very weird!

Hey everyone ..... so far so good. I have a sweet tooth and thought maybe make
up a batch of diet jello only use half of the water called for and make those jiggly
candy squares and toss 'em in powdered sugar sub.

Change of plans. Gave the yogurt to a co-worker who never tried it.

L: Granola bar and plum
D: Hummus & Crackers
S: Frozen Grapes, Orange

Just finished my Tae bo video because I felt sluggish and didn't want to go to the gym.

Made a new thread about these: Tyson Any'tizers Bruschetta in Chicken & Bacon.
I wanted others that may not check this thread to be aware of them. I had 6 (2 srvgs) of them for a total of 380/c. Dipped them in WF Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce, and had 1 1/2 cups of coleslaw w/WF coleslaw dressing. (was going to have salad, but lettuce did not look fresh).

Each Any'tizer was about 4 good bites, and was very crunchy. So, a very satisfying and filling supper for about 400 calories!

Each serving was 190 cals and 14g protein.

I did until 30 minutes ago. I made a Better Than Flour mix biscuit
from the mix I had made and I ate it with butter. I could kick my
butt.
