UD Wednesday: What's on the Menu?

Good morning, everyone! I am feeling especially chipper today for some reason. I'm hoping it comes with a massive dose of productivity because I am swamped at work.

pre-workout - banana - 90 cals
breakfast - PBJ on sprouted grain bread or maybe toast + 2 eggs - ?? cals
lunch - salad w/ salmon, stir fry veggies - ?? cals
dinner - Indian restaurant - not sure what I'm ordering yet... - ?? cals

Healthy snacks as needed (I've been craving plain greek yogurt w/ PB2 & sweetener - yum!)

Goal is 2000 cals

I have been a snack monster today. Munched on some toasted coconut almonds (OMG!), quaker cheddar cheese "popped" snacks and also raspberries. Time to quit eating or I won't have enough calories for Indian tonight! I'm definitely planning to keep it on the healthy side with tandoori chicken or shrimp.

Oh great, now I want tandoori chicken. But I can't have it without naan, raita, dal, and rice. There's a big chunk of calories!

It's generally very healthy, though quite carby and lots of yogurt is used. You can't go wrong with tandoori chicken or shrimp. Just stay away from anything fried or creamy if you want to keep the calories in check. I LOVE Indian food.

Good tips - thanks! If I love it, I am totally planning to save a ton of calories on some upcoming UD and feast! :-)

WOE: whole organic low-sugars IF vegan
Start Date: 1997
B- kale and banana smoothie with chia and cacao nibs
l- 2 poached eggs in broth with a handful of cherry tomatoes from the back yard
s- half cup greek yogurt with raw honey and an ounce of almonds
making the day total thus far 860cal
d- tbd maybe a quesadilla with yogurt and salsa for dipping
adding another 400 if I use 2 full ounces of cheese.
That would bring me to 1260, supposed to be 1860.
Bah.
Had a little walk and of course yoga, but I don't count that toward calorie levels ever.

B: coffee w/cream, vanilla greek yogurt with frozen blueberries (500)
L: roast chicken and a bowl of fruit - cherry season! (500)
D: beef and broccoli w/jasmine rice (300)
S: 1/2 small bag hickory sticks (245)

I think I'm going to stop counting my calories on up days. I want to eat only until satisfied but when I see the numbers written out and that I have leftover calories, it makes me want to eat all the rest up to the limit. Physically I don't want it, psychologically I do.
