Oohhh, I like that idea! I have two sitting in my cupboard waiting for me! Especially like the coffee and ice idea!

Thanks Dottie. I was dreading today. This makes me more hopeful!

The vanilla one is really good in coffee. I use about 1/3 of a shake in a big cup and it's a nice creamy beverage on a DD

I tried a T of protein shake in my coffee, and it's floating on top. Also added almost no taste. I made the coffee too strong and this is my third attempt after pouring out two cups, so I'm going to drink it.

Don't know what the plans are for food today, but as usual try to keep it under 500.

Probiotic drinks and protein shakes for me today. Maybe a green smoothie right before bed.

What kind was it? I don't care for the powder that you mix in coffee, and I'd picked up a bunch of RTD ones. The EAS AdvantEDGE ones are pretty good, not chalky like some can be.
For powders, I like MRM chocolate (not chemically tasting at all) and designer whey in Vanilla Praline and gold standard casein in banana cream (really good blend with a couple of frozen strawberries and some almond milk).

I do check amazon and gnc locally for trial or sample sizes before I invest on a 2lb canister of them though. Nothing worse than spending a lot on a powder you hate.

I really like the protein powder that I have, but it didn't mix well with coffee. It's a GNC brand of vanilla whey. I like the sound of the banana cream and vanilla praline. I have been hestitant to try any unusual sounding flavors because I like to add my own fruits, PB2, etc. However, I might try these.

I have a serious aversion to anything checmically tasting So finding a protein powder I liked took a lot of research, trial and error

Bf brought me home a cheeseburger. He can't keep up with whether it's a DD or UD, lol. Didn't help that he forgot his phone either while he was out. I didn't even think about him bringing home lunch. I put in the fridge for him to have later, if he wants it. Caused a minor argument because he couldn't understand why I wouldn't just eat it. Now I'm dissatisfied and irrationally hungry.

Cindy, maybe your bf needs you to put up a JUDDD calendar on the refrigerator. I'm sure it save you both from a few arguments.

We are still doing the potato hack which is going GREAT. So -

B: Decaf with half & half

L: 1 baked potato, cut into 4 wedges, sprayed lightly with olive oil spray then sprinkled with garlic powder, paprika, and less than a teaspoon of green can Parm cheese, baked at 400* til crisping up - dipped into a little SF ketchup

D: Probably either the same as lunch, or I might take one of my other baked potatoes, halve, scoop out the innards and heat, then mix with 2 T. salsa con queso and 1 T. Costco's ready-made bacon bits, stuff back into the skin halves and bake at 400* til hot throughout.

S: If needed - iced mocha frappé (1 cup Trader Joe's coconut milk, 60 cals, 1 heaping teaspoon each Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa and instant decaf coffee powder, a splash of vanilla, pinch of salt, a little less than 1/2 tsp. glucomannan powder, and enough NuNaturals No Carbs powder to make it sweet)

He doesn't even look at the calendar now, lol. He's constantly asking me what day it is (date). I think even if I told him more than once, he'd forget. He is always multi-tasking and trying to think of everything, but not my diet.

Ok, I had some coffee again, tried but not liking this brand. -40 overall tonight and this morning because I couldn't drink more than a few sips each time--plus I've run out of Splenda and Stevia is just nasty.

yogurt with WF maple syrup and 1/2 T of grape nuts - 140

Tilapia filet and steamed broccoli (both found in the freezer, and both vaguely freezer burnt ) - 115

Twisted tea - 100 (I didn't finish it)

When you mix protein powder in coffee or a hot drink it needs to be cooled some or it curdles. I cool a cup of coffee somewhat just take the heat off use a hand blender and mix then top it off with hot coffee . I works pretty well
