Starr, you're doing beautifully! Ignore the scale, it's evil and it LIES! Hope your sweet littlest GDD adapts ok at being home alone. When my DD was the only one here, we made good use of lots of girl time to keep it fun. Now we both miss it when she's at school!

Kissa, we know you, you'll do fine with a few of your DD rotations. I am so sorry to hear about your neighbor's passing.

ME, so happy to hear that YOU are so happy this week! I understand precisely what you're saying. It's a wonderful thing to feel this might be the answer, finally, huh? I bet it is for you!!!!

LG, hun, I still hate pictures of me and I'm supposed to be at goal. We really are our own worst enemies!! I know you look lovely! You did say you are getting lots of comments now, right? Keep going gf, you are doing wonderful!!! XO

I'm sure it'll be here too fast for me! I have a boy old enough to be in college and it feels like he started kindergarten the other day

Hugs jbinme! Dottie is right, this parenting stuff is ALL tough! Why must it hit us so hard? Boo hoo! I took DD shopping today. Trying to enjoy her as much as I can before she's gone all day long again.

Dottie, how's your DS doing? 2nd year of college or more? He's probably a pro at this living on his own thing, huh?

Everyone has such great recipes for making a few calories a big plate of food! I have been telling myself I only have to fast for breakfast and lunch and then can have a nice reasonable dinner. That is not hard at all! I have been keeping UDs kind of moderate but still plenty satisfying. Gosh..I can almost see this being the answer to my weight struggles. It so cleverly creates such a calorie deficit that half of the time you can eat "normal". Isn't that all anyone wants to be able to do?
It also seems so flexible for life's curve balls, and that is important.
I realize you all already know these things, but wow! It is such a revelation for me.
Yes, we know it and that's why it is a joy to continue JUDDDing. Love watching newbies see the magic unfold.

Flying by to say hello. Been a overwhelmingly busy week. Finished firing and yesterday packed up all my dragon mugs, etc. My daughter picks them up today to take to the convention. I posted pix on Facebook and already have four orders for more. Psyching myself into LOVING making dragons....not there yet!

Had a great DD yesterday....actually kept under 600 cals for the first time in several weeks. I have an appt. at the doctor's tomorrow, so I want to be careful not to overdo the UD today....

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all!!! Busy day here running kids around and Jenna has school open house tonight. She will be happy to finally know for sure who her teacher is going to be this year! Oldest son got a car yesterday, too. My dad gave him his. (yes, my kids are their only grands, they can be spoiled) While grateful, tack on some major $$ to all the other expenses we have going on now. Goodness kids are expensive! Good thing I love mine... LOL I will say, though, hopefully K having a car will help with the crazy "at the same time" activities this fall! He can help me chauffer!!!

Ellen, I missed the dragon discussion? Dragon MUGS you say? I imagine there's a purpose for these? LOL!

Ellen, Dragon mugs sound so cool! My bf would be ecstatic to get one...as an anecdote, our back yard grass had gotten out of hand and I mentioned there's probably dragons out there. BF said, awww, we can't get rid of their home. Thankfully, it was taken care of yesterday and the dragons were slayed.

Flutter, sounds like you're keeping busy! DS has a car!! I bet he is the only one jumping up and down with joy lol. Think of it like this, now he can run all your errands for you!

Ooh, speaking of crafty!!! Have any of you guys seen the rainbow loom rubber band bracelets in your area? Jenna is having a field day making them for her teachers & friends this week. So fun, and so easy! Why can't I ever come up with this stuff? The inventors must be making some serious moola!

I googled them, Flutter, and they are neat. You can buy charms to put on them too. Yes, the inventors are making serious bank.

I would love to see your Dragon mugs also Ellen!
Flutter the bracelets are so cool! I know what to give for gifts now.

I knew I jinxed things yesterday and today's DD has been tough and I have been so tired.
I needed something at lunch and I had some shirataki noodles I bought in March and opened up a bag and put it in the colander . I was so surprised the colander was empty when I looked down! The noodles were all liquified. I guess if I I ever worried there was really lots of calories in them that proves they really are nothing! I did not know they had a shelf life. Some of my other bags were ok but 2 were liquified.

I have had some for over a year... I guess I won't be shocked if they have disappeared. The 3-4 bags have always been in the fridge though. The package said they last longer in fridge than pantry

Ellen, I love the mugs. I'm very crafty too, but sadly I rarely get time to enjoy all my hobbies. I still make beaded jewelry a couple times per year because of gift requests, but I never scrapbook anymore and never have time to make things like wreaths or small collectibles. I use to sell my crafts and jewelry at local fairs and loved it, but unfortunately or fortunately my career takes a lot of my time.

I love mugs!!! I just ordered a mug with my doggy's pictures on it. It came out so cute. Some mugs I use for decorations also.

I have picked up a new hobby which I probably don't have time for but I don't care LOL My friend at work got me into cross stitching and right now I'm making a book mark. It is relaxing but a bit time cosuming and I'm not all that great at it yet. I think my book mark will come out nice and I'm hoping to make some Christmas gifts this year!
