UD Tuesday: menu and plans

And the heat goes on... I hope that we're all topping up our vitamin D reserves.

B: coffee with MCT oil and lecithin: 160kcals

L: soup with MCT etc.: 260kcals

D: cheeseboard, stuffed mushrooms, selection of pickled vegetables and crackers: approx 650kcals

Running total of 1070kcals with 500kcals spare: however, I may need to have another 2 Tbsp of MCT, depending on the heat which is approx 320kcals and supplementing potato starch is 80-160kcals.

Not sure. Just coffee so far & I fear today will be one of those UDs I have "issues". (haven't for the past 2 UDs, btw) I am having some rumblings with just my coffee and that is unusual. Hmmm...

Will play it by ear here!

Happy UD peeps!!! It's a hot one out there!

I'm trying to stick to an 8 hour eating window as Paul Jaminet recommends in his Perfect Health Diet AND generally stay LC.

With that in mind:

11:00 B: 2 scrambled eggs with LC roll

3:00 L: Lettuce rollups with lean turkey

?? D: ??

Saving most of my calories for the evening cuz we're going to the county fair. Probably won't be LC but hopefully, I'll be within my UD number of1888.

B: Cereal bar - 90kcal, Chai Tea - 1 kcal
L: Ravioli - 480kcal
S: Bag lite popcorn - 330kcal
D:? I haven't decided, but after the damage I've done in the sodium department already today, it'll have to be low sodium. 1,105 calories to go. I'm thinking un-salted mashed potatoes with sauteed veggies over top. My next goal... I need to get the sodium thing in check so that I don't retain too much water.

Oddly enough, Piglet513, I need to add sodium to tonight's dinner as I'm drinking litres of water to compensate for my copious and non-stop glow.*

So, less cheese and some capers, anchovies and olives.

*According to my school - horses sweat, gentlemen perspire, ladies merely glow. Let's just say that I'm currently glowing night and day to the point where if I lie on a towel to sleep, I need to change it several times a night. That's a whole lot of 'glowing' going on...

Oh my goodness SlowSure!! I don't know how you take it. I have to admit, I'm a pampered city girl who considers a lack of A/C a real emergency. I don't think I'd ever get a good night's sleep if I was hot all night. :/

WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
B: Everything bagel with cream cheese, coffee, iced tea
L: Small Wendy's chili with TJ's habanero hot sauce
D: A shredded pork tamale with red sauce and pinapple salsa, a chicken tamale with tomatillo sauce and roasted corn salsa, whole beans

I'll have around 400 calories left over for cocktails or dessert, or both.

I am Down Daying today, but already planning tomorrow's food. It didn't feel right to put it in the Down Day thread, so I'm posting here.

I'm planning custard and sashimi. LOTS of sashimi. Maybe even some rice. I'm really looking forward to it. I made the custard yesterday, and it turned out FANTASTIC! Looking forward to finishing it off. Luckily, no one else in the family really likes it. So it's mine, all mine!

I had two baked organic potatoes with butter and cheese for supper. They were delicious!

If I get a little hungry later, I may have a "frosty". I'm in the mood for something chocolatey and ice creamy.

Alright, so coffee & gummies for breaky; grilled chicken salad with raspberry vin dressing for lunch; skinny mocha frapp while out; grilled chicken Caesar salad for dinner, Greek yogurt with blueberries just now, and still a bunch of calories left. Maybe another cocktail on the patio...it IS uber hot outside just like I like!
