DD Thursday - what are you having?

Morning all!

B: Black tea
L: Black coffee with butter and coconut oil
D: Black coffee with butter and coconut oil

Just less than 500 kcals for the day. Not feeling at all hungry so far this morning so that is good.

Hoe you all have a great DD!

Usual boring plan since it's a week day. (coffee, gummies, water, diet soda) I won't be home this morning, though. Have recruited help from my dad to bring the dog in to the vet. I actually couldn't sleep last night worrying about it. That dog and vets, not a good combo!

Flutter, I hope your dog is ok!I am going to get mine some more Comfortis ASAP. The flea population this summer is out of hand.

B-coffee - 60

L-salad (15), cucumbers (10), WF salad dressing (0) - 25

s-1/2 c. greek yogurt, 1 t lemon curd - 85

D-Probably tuna and angel hair cabbage (I might add some crushed tomatoes and paste, so will have to figure up the calories later at home)

Thanks guys, it's just a routine checkup that is overdue because he gets so anxious and I usually need DH with me to hold him. He's mid sized, but strong and will growl at the vet. I get so nervous! DH is a pro. Oy! I soooo wish he could come. {sigh} should be over soon enough, right?

I always have to ask DH to take the dogs to the vet. They are so easy going, that I have nothing to worry about, but I still get stressed, and I'm sure they sense my stress and then they get stressed. Ugh. Same with introducing them to new dogs. DH has to handle it, or I add to the tension and just make it worse.

I worry more about the other pets (and their owners) in the vet's office being terrified of my big, but way easy-going dog. She weighs about 100 lbs, but she'd prefer to sit in my lap than bother anyone else... LOL

B: coffee w/ creamer
L: 16 carrots, 1 laughing cow wedge, 2 slices black forest ham
D: chicken breast, italian veggies
coffee w/ creamer

Lol!!! I do love a laughing cow and baby carrots, too!

Yep, Dawn, I am sure my anxiety doesn't help the dog. He is over the top anxious. It took 3 of us to be able to keep him on the table, hold him and eventually put the muzzle on. Have I mentioned how much I love BIG dogs? Why do I have this little one? {sigh} I am not used to these kinds of issues!!!

Anyhow, we all survived. The vet told me to call a few days ahead next time so they could give me TWO kinds of sedatives before his next visit. Seriously, this is a little 43# Aussie!

Back to dd talk...I am hungry, but going to grab a big water and read a bit. Hopefully I will forget all about it! Hope everyone's having a lovely day!!!!

Hate when that happens, Vicky! I love those drinks too. May as well have a Pepsi, lol.

I plan to fix Steph's Spicy Tuna recipe for dinner, I think. Still on coffee right now. Could stop now and be at 165, but why would I? Oh yeah, I need to lose A LOT.
