Sid, take a look at the 'sticky' topic: What is JUDDD? Come inside and see. It gives a very good overview.

You can eat rice and pasta and ice cream and cake if it fits into your calories. You can get your calorie allotment by googling the "juddd calculator". I would not say that juddd is for rapid weight loss, but I lost 65 pounds in less than a year with JUDDD. I lost the first 10 pounds on low carb/very low calorie, but it was miserable. With JUDDD no foods were off limits.

My understanding is that you're striving to lose 17 pounds in one month. I honestly don't think that's realistic, with JUDDD, or any other plan, especially given that you've already lost 48 pounds in 3 months. I can't stress enough that your body will not thank you for pushing this hard to lose weight this quickly.

JUDDD is an amazing plan, with lots of inherent health benefits built right in, but you have to be in it for the long haul, not for rapid weight loss.

Best of luck!

Sometimes people can not count calories on the up day and still lose, but the safest plan is to count the up day (maintenance) calories recommended by the calculator on Dr. Johnson's website. So instead of eating low cal every day, you alternate a higher calorie day with a lower calorie day.

I agree with the other responses. You can have what you want in your calories, but it's hard to know how fast the weight will come off... everyone is so different! It seems like whatever the plan, the last pounds are usually harder to take off. If you don't count on more than 1 pound a week, if it comes off faster you can be pleasantly surprised.

I agree with all of the others, JUDDD is not a rapid weight-loss plan.

I know that you've asked in other forums/threads and mentioned that you know the general consensus is that it can't be done or unwise, so, with those points in mind, my only pointer if you wish to look into this further is: Dr.Stillman's ~Quick Weight Loss Diet

This is how it works:

WHAT IS JUDDD? COME INSIDE AND SEE!!

and yes, it takes time. Just like anything else, weight loss is going to take time.
