I do not think I am going to make my Labor Day challenge goal (onederland), but I do have a 10 pound loss under by belt so far and should have a few more pounds thrown in there (I hope) by Labor Day!

I think a 10 pound loss puts you among the stars for sure.

I will not make this goal, and I'm not the least bit sad about it. I got down to 148, and decided to stop fasting for health reasons (counterintuitive, I know, but it's working for me). I was stable between 148-152, but then went on vacation and gained nearly 8 pounds. I lost 5 pounds of that with no effort. I seem to be pretty stable right now at 152-153, and I'm okay with that.

My new goal is to maintain below 155 until Labor Day, then reevaluate.

Everybody is doing great with just under 3 weeks left till labor day! I have no idea if I'll make my goal of being in onederland, especially since I'm now taking my official weight every 8 days after an UD but I'm sticking to plan and sure will try. I guess we'll all see what happens.

One thing I know for sure though is that no matter what we'll all be THAT much closer to our ultimate goal, be it additional weight loss or a period of successful maintenance.

Let's keep on keeping on!

My next goal date after labor day is my birthday (10 weeks after). My goal will be to unload 15-20 pounds in that time frame.

My labor day goal was to be exercising on a consistant level. It hasn't happened - but yesterday I went for a 20 minute walk outside. Today I could go again....

I would be surprised if I made my goal of 170 by Labor Day, but I hope to be under 175 and on the downside of the 70s at least!

I doubt I'll make mine either. My 16s Levis are still too tight to comfortably wear, and I wanted them loose and the 14s tight. I may just be comfortably in the 16s by Labor Day, but I'll take it!

......and the 14s will definitely be tight!!!

I am definitely not going to make my goal, but I've actually finally set a routine for getting to the gym. This is the first time since 2005 that I actually look forward to going to the gym. That may not have been my goal, but it feels great.

I'm so proud of everyone and all the effort we have put in this summer.

I highly doubt I'll reach my goal either at this point. Having gained 13.6 pounds on vacation last week and then going on a cruise next week I'll be fighting to just stay below 200 by the time Labor Day comes. I'm ok with this and I'll hit the ground running after my cruise and get there eventually.

I'm going to be doing a lot more outdoor activities this fall, hiking, a color run 5k, zombie run obstacle course 5k, maybe the warrior dash 5k along with my normal strength training so no slacking off for me this fall/winter season like I did last year.

My ultimate goal by next spring will be to get to 10% body fat, I'm somewhere between 16% and 18% now and I'd like to get it professionally checked to be sure.

I love how we're all re-evaluating / adjusting our goals with no guilt or shame!!!!. Such a far cry from those despairing days of, "I'm not going to hit this goal, so I might as well give up." JUDDDing is so full of joy and hope - and wonderful JUDDD BUDDDs

This is an excellent point. With other WOEs I would have absolutely been discouraged, felt "not good enough," and thrown in the towel. How beautiful is it that we can adjust our goals without berating ourselves?!

This certainly is a new concept for me too. I'm slightly disappointed, but really it's all a win when you're losing at all, even if it's not quite as fast as you predicted...or hoped.

I agree ladies! In fact after I hit onederland my initial monthly goal will be a very modest 5 pounds per month until I hit 180. Then begin the slow crawl to final goal (2-3 pounds a month). I have absolutely no problem doing this because I know JUDDD will take it off in time and I'll get there without having to give up any of my favorite foods or kill myself in the gym.

Add that to the list of JUDDD benefits...a sense of knowing and peace.

I think I'll rejoin the daily weigh in thread for this challenge.
I don't know if I'll make it or not. I held 121.1 for a while, but TOM is a week overdue and yesterday I was 122.5.

My cycle had regulated in maintenance, but it seems to get really wonky when I'm in WLM. This is not good since I want to get pregnant in the next few months. I'll stay with WLM through Labor Day, but will probably go back to 5:2 after that. I am exercising 5-7 days a week now and feel really good about that. If I never lose another pound I can live with a bounce range of 124-121, but would be tickled if it was 121-118.

Same here with WLM & Irregularity, but I'm peri-menopausal. My TOM is late this month by 2 wks. so far, and I've been experiencing hot flashes & night sweats more than ever before. I'm hoping the DD freezing I've had in the past & cooler autumn temps will help counter balance them, since I haven't had a full nights sleep in weeks. Unfortunately I haven't been able to stick with a DD yet since restarting 4:3 last week, because of intense carb. cravings, headaches & fatique. At the beginning of Aug. I had re-gained 5 lbs. of water weight that is still refusing to leave, so I'm going to try another two weeks of 4:3 along with 16/8 to see if my weight will get unstuck while my hormones are so out of wack.

Update: Down almost 2 pounds from my last post UD weigh-in 8 days ago and a pound from my last low weight putting my total fat loss in 5+ weeks on JUDDD at 12.2 pounds! I'm ecstatic!

Come on ladies and gents, 2+ weeks until Labor Day. Let's make it count!

Love the positive outlooks as we get closer to Labor Day. I was thinking about this today as I neared my 20 pounds lost on JUDDD... I have such confidence that I can lose this weight once and for all AND keep it off. Knowing I have control over what I'm eating is spreading to other parts of my life and I feel so much better!

My labor day goal was to be exercising on a regular basis. I walked twice outside so far this week - it's a start. Yesterday was at the beach, I could walk daily if I lived at the beach! I plan to continue each week till it becomes habit. The cooler temps and low humidity sure help a lot also!

My weight has been so crazy. I have been gaining and losing the same pound for weeks. Making me nutty. I literally took a shower and gained four pounds according to the scale. I know that I'm overly stressed, personally and professionally and that can play a role. I'm very frustrated!

My UDs have been great, DDs have been low but no change. I see all the changes physically and working out three days a week has been absolutely amazing for the stress, but something has to give.

Sorry for the min-vent!

Oh Lisa, I know what you're feeling! I will give you the same pep talk I probably need to give myself! If you are seeing changes in your body - good ones - then forget about the scale numbers for awhile. We are transforming our bodies, not just our weights! Keep focusing on the good things you are doing eating wise, and working out. In the long run, those things will win out. Hang in there hon!

Still can't wear my Levi Curvy 14s. I can button them with a LOT Of sucking in, but I wouldn't wear them for more than 5 minutes. I really thought I'd be in those by now. Maybe they're mis-labled.

Lisa, Girl I feel you!! I can't tell you the times I've been discouraged with the ups and downs since I started JUDDD. I have stopped complaining for about 4 weeks or more now. I've decided to just relax and trust JUDDD, and that's all we can do, really. If you're sticking to the numbers religiously, it will work. If you're counting every calorie and stall for 3 weeks or more, then you can try to change something...calories, carbs, or whatever you think might help. Personally, I feel like you're doing great!

I have no idea if I will make my goal, but I'm not stressing. I had some emotional eating (m&ms and sub sandwiches) while taking my daughter to college. I am not going to get on the scale until I have done two Down Days. I know I am up, but I feel no need to know EXACTLY how up, since two Down Days should bring me back down nicely. I 'll check myself on Thursday morning, and go on from there.

I like how Zen I am feeling about it.

I like your Zen too, Sirtain - in fact, I love it. You are doing a fantastic job!

Lisa, that scale is wonky! I mean, I have dry skin, but I hope it's not so dry I could absorb 4 pounds!

I said I'm going to stop doing these challenges because I'm the type that never wins. I seem to be gaining now instead of getting closer to my goal. Oh well, I am never quitting, so there's that.

I doubt I'll be doing any more challenges though...6 more DDs till Sept. 1st.

I'm still hanging in there. Went on a mini vacation and gained, but have since lost it. Extremely happy there. I know I will not lose the 10 lbs needed to make my goal by Labor Day, but if I can get halfway there I'll be pleased as punch!

Lisa-hang in there! Not to long ago I was bouncing around the same pound and then woosh! Away it went!

Thanks everyone! So glad I can come here and work through the frustration with all of you.

My water intake wasn't as high as it usually is and I'm back to eight insulated cups a day. Two pounds down since Sunday so hopefully I'm heading in the right direction.
