I am chugging along on my goal. I just made my Independence Day goal (179) by the skin of my teeth, but then I blasted downward unexpectedly. I seem to be stabilizing at 175 right now, and I am feeling good. My new pants are already getting loose. 170 is looking more likely to me, every day.

Loose pants are good. I seem to be having the same problem.

Cut and hauling wood is a workout! I know! I can't say I'm doing anything physical more than my normal. But walking is coming soon - it is!! I need to have a talk with myself!

I had an all day training today and literally had to run to the bathroom five times between 9am and 1:30. I felt so bad, but i just couldn't help it. I'm hoping I'm going to see a whoosh soon.

Oh, I have that problem almost daily and usually see a 3 pound drop from 6:30am to 6:30pm regardless of what I ate. I'm sure your whoosh came or is right around the corner.

So far, so good. I'm down a total of 7 pounds. I need to lose almost 20 pounds to make my Labor Day goal. I'm not sure I will get there...I was hoping to lose a bit faster. However...it is steadily going down, so even if I don't quite make it, I'll be close!

Two week induction is over! Took my official weight this morning and I'm 2 pounds down in week 2!

I was 2.8 pounds UP after embarking on a new exercise routine but I stuck with it through the bounce and have come out the other side victorious.

Going forward I've made 2 changes to my approach with this WOE.

1. I'm doing 0 cal DD's from now on because I did one yesterday and was fine with out anything but water. I also want to get the maximum health effects of JUDDD to clear up certain issues I have so feel this will give me the best results over time.

2. I'll be taking my official weight every 4th UD. So avoiding the scale until the following days:

- July 31
- Aug 8, 16, 24
- Sept 1

....which brings us to the end of the labor day challenge. My goal is to be in ONEderland by then and it's gonna happen.

Congrats you guys! We're shedding pounds and getting fit!

Congrats fluffy bunny on the 2 pound loss. Good luck with the 0 calorie DDs - what ever works!! I am one who MUST weigh daily - so while I admire your determination to stay away from the scale so long, I know that I couldn't do it - and I'm amazed anyone can! Labor Day will be here before we know it! Onward and downward!

Thank you! I'm really so pleased. I've lost much faster than 2 pounds a week before in the past but I've never done it eating whatever I want and not counting calories at all.

Weighing often in weight loss mode is too much for my psyche. The number I see on the scale can really affect my mood for the whole day and mess up my flow if it doesn't say what I want it to. For me it's better to focus on daily habits and use the scale to make sure everything is headed in the right direction.

However, something I've not done before which I NEED to once I'm in maintenance mode is weigh every single day first thing in the morning. I tend to ignore the scale once I've reached a weight I'm comfortable with and that spells very bad news for someone who can gain up to 20 pounds before they go up a dress size.

I am still shooting for 170 as well for Labor Day. Maybe this will be the incentive I need to power through the long weekends (I have Friday's off during the summer) with continued rotations. I have been lax and doing only 2-3 DDs a week. My short weeks are coming to an end soon though, and I only have about 3 more, I think. Good luck Everyone! We can do it!!!!!

I have gone up a little again, after a very long dip downward, matching an unusually long period. A little aggravating, but it is what it is. I'll just keep plugging away.

you can do it, Sirtain!

I am down .6 this morning for an almost 9 pound loss in a month. If this keeps up, I just might make my challenge goal! Although, I do have vacation next week...

Hi SlowSure...I am going to do 5:2. It looks like it is working very well for some. I'm not sure which days will be UDs together but I will figure it out. What does everyone else do for 5:2?

I want to be down to 155 by LABOR DAY!

I'm too new to have a pattern of gains and losses on JUDDD yet.
This coming Monday will tell me if I've had a losss.

I'm going to bite the bullet and say I want to be at my goal of 125 by labor day. Originally, my goal was the first day of Fall but what's a few weeks early LOLOL Anyway, I will try to get as close as I can. Was just invited to a wedding the first weekend in Oct. so that's great inspiration to get into the smallest dress possible. I want to look the best (except for the bride of course)

I had stalled so I put my numbers back up to my original numbers and I have been feeling much better. Seeing movement on the scale even though I have the daily bounce thing going on, but at least the scale is moving again.
