I also have to watch carbs as they can easily spawn binges for me on UD's if I am not careful.

We are all a little different; that is one reason why this board is so beneficial--we all get to share what is working (or not) and help eachother.

Steph, congratulations again on staying on plan for a year and reaping great benefit for your efforts.

Congratulations on your JUDDD anniversary! Can't believe a year has gone by! As Kristin has said, you are a success in progress! I love that you have had such an exciting year with so many things in your life to celebrate and enjoy and you have also lost weight and improved your health! Wow !!!!congrats on one year. Don't be frustrated because you could of not started last year and weigh 50 or more pounds than you do now, have fun with the experiments..I hope you find what is causing the up day binges, I am the opposite I struggle to get my up days and have to fight myself off food on down days , I know it's just a mental thing most of the time.

Steph, congratulations on your JUDDDiversary!
You have had so many wise and beautiful responses to your post. I wish I could have written them!
I just want to say that I think you have done brilliantly to lose so much and not gain it back, especially considering the way Life keeps making it extra complicated for you.
You have lots to feel very proud about, including your tenacity, your insights, your weight loss success, your generosity.
One thing I've noticed is how easy it can be to fool ourselves and make excuses. I want to commend you for your honesty and openness when sharing your journey. That makes is so valuable to so many.

you've done great to take off what you've already taken off! and kept off what you've lost!

i have the opposite problem, where down days are the killer. i do think that if you ate a whole lot more protein on your up days that you would probably have an easier time. of course everyone's different, but i think all of us would eat less if we ate a combination of less refined carbs and more protein. the more refined carbs i eat, the more i want to eat. it's a vicious circle.

I can almost read a little saddness in your post....honestly dont give up...Dont look at the numbers.....look at your high points!!! The high points are most important in the whole picture!! The numbers dont define you! The high points make you!

You have done amazing, and you have helped alot of people with your weekly journal. I for one love reading it, though I dont always comment. This milestone in your journey is well deserved! You worked hard for it! I know your a busy person, and JUDDD has worked with you!! Here's to another year on JUDDD to come!!! You can do it!!!
