Dr. Lustig: The Cause of Obesity

I found this very interesting.

I thought this was very interesting too, especially at the end, around the 15 minute mark, when he was talking about what would happen if you gave a slim person who maintains his weight by taking in and burning 2000 calories a day extra insulin.... what would happen not only to their weight but in how they feel.

This is especially interesting to me because PCOS (which I have) is associated with insulin resistance. It makes me think I should be more careful about carbs on up days. I just had cream of wheat for breakfast ;)

The research indicates that ADF helps improve insulin sensitivity. Didn't remember the studies mentioning carb restriction in conjunction with ADF, so this could be why on Juddd many of us can now have some carbs although we couldn't formerly.

Google "Dr. Lustig The Cause of Obesity". You'll see a link for The Diet Doctor. Go there. Then choose videos. You should see it on the upper right with some others. They are interesting, too.

Thats for posting, Carolina Coast! Yes, I also found it to be very interesting. My insulin levels have dropped since starting JUDDD.

I had that problem at first, too. Then I noticed there is a choice between mobile and ... not mobile (I forget what they called it!) and when I selected the non-mobile option I was able to see the video. Hope that helps. :)
