I had a leftover lamb chop and some blueberries for breakfast. There will be sashimi for lunch, but I'm not sure about dinner. There's getting to be quite a pile of leftovers in the fridge.

If the restaurant you are going to doesn't have nutritional information, I'd just search on-line for something similar and enter it as that. I use an on-line tracker with an app for my phone, so I do this often.

Happy pre-holiday, "weekend" eve everyone (in the US anyway)!

B: Coffee/HWC
L: Cucumbers in vinegar, 2 oz taco beef
D: Cauliflower and bermuda onion salad, steak, corn on the cob, red wine!
D: Ice cream!!!

Probably around 2100-2300 calories. A bit high, but this is my 4th of July feast (to be repeated on Thursday too, whatever is left over, which should be plenty!)

I'm not allowed to have red (I do anyway, sometimes). Apparently, it makes me mean!

Happy long weekend for those of you taking tomorrow and Friday off!

I agree with Dawn-- when in doubt, estimate and do your best.

Today:
B: puffins cereal with 2% milk and a banana! it was going brown so I threw it in
L: a small Panini sandwhich (chicken, gremolata, Havarti, veggies) and some veggie soup
snack: 2 slices bacon, and about 1/4c guac
1 slice (end) homemade bread (more on this later) with some marg and 1 slice cheddar

D: sandwhich night! My friend's husband is in a bread making and experimentation phase, and I am benefitting tonight! I even went TO THE OFFICE to pick it up (and b/c I had to meet with my friend for a work thing... mostly to get the bread though!).

It's whole grains and whole wheat, a touch of white I think he said... it's HEAVY and delicious (had that end, so far) so I picked up some fresh deli turkey and roast beef, some lettuce, onion, cheeses... DH will make us sandwiches

Then I'll slice and freeze the rest.

maybe berries for dessert.

I'm still in your debt, re: looking up food items! LOL
this one was herbs, lemon zest, and roasted garlic. Mostly the lemon came through, and gave the chicken great flavor.

The corner restaurant has changed 3x in my 8yrs at this company... right now, it's owned by a chef who does catering for local businesses, and runs the lunch run and I think breakfast too... I hadn't been there before (since I never go in anymore) but the food was all excellent quality (my friend had a salad-- candied pecans, fresh dressing, etc) and I was very impressed. Nice to have options, ya know?

I gave Keira the choice of tamales or gyros. She chose tamales. The tamale place was closed, so we went to the gyro place. Right next door, they opened a new "Extreme Grilled Cheese" place, so we tried that instead.

I had sharp cheddar with dates, raisins and walnuts on whole wheat with tomato basil bisque. It was yummy!

Grilled cheese! Yum! Littlest made one for herself yesterday on my Down Day, and the smell of it drove me wild.
