Had a chance to replace my bike tube last night so I could get back out there. Feeling rather proud of myself because removing the back tire and getting it back on properly is not easy for me because of the chain. But, I did it! Yay!

Good for you for fixing that yourself! It's a great feeling of accomplishment isn't it?

Well, I used to hula hoop as a kid. Effortlessly. I could do around the waist, the ankles and jump over it, the neck, the arms. Those were the lightweight ones you can get at walmart for a few bucks.

A few years ago I bought one of those and could not do it! I tried and tried and gave up. It would not stay up around my waist. Gave the darn thing away.

A few months ago some folks on here were talking about it, and recommended a weighted one. I looked around and found one at Walmart but they didn't have it in the store so I ordered it. Like $20 or something. And again, at first I couldn't do it. The kicker was when I stood in front of my TV which was off and I could see my reflection. Something about being able to see myself and adjust my movements and I was able to do it for maybe 30 seconds. So I've just been working on it and have built up my time. FUN!
