Thanks Carol/aka LCG. lol I'm sure I will burn quite a few. That's how I lost the initial 50 lbs. I was at 204 and started grooming dogs and watched the calories some, but not strictly. Everyday I was seeing a loss, but I really like the JUDDD way so I think a little higher DD's and a little lower on the UD's may do the trick. We shall see......

Thanks everyone! I'm just giggling with joy today. I'm getting greedy though, expecting more loss tomorrow after today's DD, and I can't do that. My losses start and stop when they want to, and I'll just have to go with that.

Quick maintenance full check. (Because it's maintenance, for a daily weigh-in I normally ignore the decimals and just read the middle figure of the major one. )

July 14 128.6lbs (y'day UD)

July 27 126.2lbs (y'day DD) new low

Ridiculous, I know, but I hate that my body fat assessment has left me questioning whether this is fat or muscle that I've lost tho' I've now upped my protein intake.

Best wishes to all those who today and my respect to those who don't see what they want nor what they should theoretically expect but persevere/come up with a sensible strategy.

Well, I had an early meal out - with pudding. This was followed by a cheesy deli supper when I got home. Then a bag of crisps (chips) in front of the tv, washed down with some very nice red wine. So yesterday's UD was defo a lot higher than prescribed.

If I can do a good DD today, I'll have been doing 5:2 by default this week.

Carol, what weight loss magic are you working to lose about a pound a day this week? Phenomenal! I'm thrilled for you, and I'm making a mental note because earlier this month you were feeling a bit discouraged by the scale if I remember correctly? You are so right ... sometimes we never know when the scale numbers are going to drop or when they are not! It can be a surprise either way, but so happy this is the good kind.

Christina, I think you did fabulously not gaining and in fact coming back a little less than when you left. Good job!

I honestly don't know what I'm doing. I'm just laying low, trying not to scare the whoosh fairy away too quickly. I guess this is just my week. I need to quit being so frustrated through the month and be confident that I'll get my week at some point during the month. I have added indoor walking/dancing (nobody laugh please - it's not pretty) but I've been doing that most of the month, so not sure if it's finally paying off or what. My UD calories have been a bit lower this week too. I don't want that to be it, but if I need to lower them finally, I can deal with that.

I have 2 free days coming up Friday and Saturday. It's Mom's 80th birthday celebration, and it's going to be yummy! I just hope it doesn't set me back too much.
