Cindy! Nice new low! Great work, JB.

Deborah whoosh! The 200s are far in the dust now.

Dawn - SO WEIRD. We all know that there is no way you could actually gain any real weight whatsoever on those calories, but I just think it is so strange! Chalk it up to a scale anomaly? Maybe adjustment to daily food vs. ADF? I think you're wise to wait it out ... it's got to stabilize soon. Great news about the chilblains!

Alcestis - nothing to worry about my friend! You are bouncing but the trend is downward ... you'll see a new low soon (maybe it's TOM).

Elphie! - Wow, nice drop! Glad to have you join us.

Shirl - Yay! Happy about your drop! Getting very close to your target maintenance range now.
Soon you will join me and the celebration will begin.......any day now!!!!!

Thank you!!! I have my best drops when I do the coffee/hwc days. I think I am at the point where everyone is noticing the weight loss. I think every day this week someone has made a comment to me about it!!

Looks like you will have a good weigh in tomorrow with no bounce today!

Well, wouldn't you know...had what I felt was a victory - lost 1.8 pounds from my last low (they are all I keep track of). I felt that was a pretty big swing and I was pretty dang happy. Had an UD yesterday and probably was a bit too up and this morning I was up 3 lbs! I know this is just the way it is and I ate a lot of salt, yada, yada, but it was a bit of a let down.
And today...a very strict DD to get back again!

Thanks and good luck to all!

Kept to my UD calories. I'm sensing a pattern here. Maybe I need to go hog wild! Still feels very pre-TOM-ish though, so I'm taking a deep breath and having faith. Looking forward to a peaceful DD. It's funny how much food we have in the fridge since I restarted JUDDDing!
Really great results for the week!

Thank you SlowSure and Carol. I did feel frustratingly stuck at the higher weight for a while but now the JUDDD magic seems to have taken over.

Cindy, the JUDDD magic is certainly working for you. Another New Low.

Alcestis, your numbers are coming down nicely, especially as you've only just restarted. You only put half a pound on from your UD. That's brilliant!

New Low Deborah. Lovely new avi.

Hello Elphie. You're off to a good start!

Shirl!

Dawn, glad to hear your chilblains have improved. I'm sure the numbers will settle down as your body adjusts.

Well held Carol.

Jrudq, don't let the numbers get you down. You know it's only water weight.

Wow Goner. Nice drop and New Low.

Melinda, have a great trip.

Goal: To get back to 124 and maintain under 126.

Goal for July: 145 or below
Amended goal: Maintain around 150

Ended June at 151.0

7/01 - 150.0 - UD - 1749
7/02 - 151.0 - DD - 296 TOM
7/03 - 150.0 - UD - 1859 TOM

7/12 - 149.4 - DD - 295
7/13 - 148.8 - UD - 1656

I redid my numbers to maintain on a steady daily calorie allotment. My chilblains are not improving, so I'm seeing if not fasting will help. I should maintain or lose a tiny bit with 1675 per day.

Dawn, are you satisfied with the calories allotment you've settled on? I wonder if one or two fasts a week would affect your chillbains negatively? I know you did 5:2 for a while, and I can't remember if the chillbains were acting up then. It looks like you will stay in your maintenance range the way you're eating now, if that's satisfying to you.

It looks like you will stay in your maintenance range the way you're eating now, if that's satisfying to you.
It's semi-satisfying, lol. I'd LOVE to have 2000-2500 calories per day to maintain!

I still had chilblains with 5:2, but they weren't as inflamed. That's what led me to think maybe the fasting, in general, was negatively impacting my condition. It's weird, because fasting is supposed to decrease (not increase) inflammation, but I'm finding my body's just opposite! I guess I never claimed to be "normal" and this just proves it.

Goal for July: Onederland. Calorie range: UD 2000, DD <800, but experimenting with higher calories on exercise days (adding back partial calories).

7/1 - 204.1 - UD - (calories? probably went over) - passed today the halfway mark to goal!
7/2 - 205.7 - DD (554)
7/3 - 204.0 - UD (?) - ate lightly during the day then didn't count and went a little nuts at dinner AGAIN. must fix this. being done with the booth will help, I think.
7/4 - 206.7 - DD - Rather than a double up day, I'm shooting for a higher down day.
7/5 - 207.5 - UD (2008) - I have been so off with my rotations ... getting back on track now.
7/6 - 205.1 - DD (608)
7/7 - 203.0 - UD (1993 + a couple bites before bed, uncounted) - That makes 70 pounds evicted.
7/8 - 203.4 - DD (581)
7/9 - 201.8 - UD (2290-408 burned=1882 net)
7/10 - 202.5 - DD (618)
7/11 - 203.5 - UD - (2558 .... didn't plan on going that high, but my tracker says I burned 687 calories so net is 1871?)
7/12 - 203.7 - DD (508)
7/13 - DNW - UD - had to leave the house at 6 in the morning... no time to weigh. Went over my UD cals by a bit.
7/14 - 203.4 - UD - one UD meal, later got sick
7/15 - 200.7 - DD - recovery diet of broth, rice, banana, and yogurt. Much better today.
7/16 - 201.7 - UD - did not count calories, but still a bit scared to eat and did not have much until a nice dinner
7/17 - 202.6 - DD
7/18 - 201.2 - UD
7/19 - 202.2 - DD - going out to dinner ... already know the salad I'll be having, and I'll fast until then except for HWC in my iced coffee, but it'll be a higher percentage DD. I'll try to get some exercise in too.

That does seem to happen. Strangely, I am not even a little bit impatient right now. I guess it's because I've been thrown off by my schedule and two stomach issues this month, and I know my rotations have been off. I've had to be in "take it easy" mode, so ... no expectations for the scale. Also, I know my best week of the month for losing is next week. I'm just happy I've been able to lose some so far this month even though my rotations/exercise have been inconsistent.

Anywhere in Onederland! No really, I think 195 would be great.

Ended June 201 - down 7 pounds.

7/1 - 201.0 - UD (1936)
7/2 - 202.5 - DD (274) HWC and avocado
7/3 - 201.0 - UD (2279) SIGH
7/4 - DNW - DD (371)
7/5 - 199.5 - UD (2286)
7/6 - 200.0 - DD (381) not as bad of a bounce as I expected after a high-ish UD
7/7 - DNW - UD (2241)
7/8 - 198.0 - DD (349) evidently I need to keep my UDs high and DDs low
7/9 - 197.5 - UD (2260)
7/10 - 197.5 - DD (488)
7/11 - 199.0 - UD (2136)
7/12 - 200.5 - DD (390) Grrr...I was hoping not to see a "2" number anymore, but it's okay. I'm feeling leaner!
7/13 - 199.0 - UD (2059)
7/14 - DNW - DD (398) Coffee/HWC and cream cheese only
7/15 - 198.0 - UD (1851) May be the lowest UD I've had....um...ever?
7/16 - 200.0 - DD (464) Grrrr again. Pre-TOM sucks. -->TOM came
7/17 - 198.5 - UD (1954) TOM
7/18 - 198.5 - DD (659) TOM - very happy there was no gain after UD
7/19 - 198.0 - UD (TBD) TOM

I'm seeing some really great numbers today guys! Let's have a great Friday!

Zumba days would get you those 2000 calories.

I wonder if a higher DD would result in the same reaction? I am just wondering here ... whether a 35% DD for WLM or a 50% DD for maintenance (allowing you higher UD calories?) would have the same effect on the chilblains or not.

I'm kicking around lots of ideas. One is to do maintenance with the 60% DD numbers and see what happens. My issue is that when I restrict, or tell myself it's a DD, I naturally gravitate to very low numbers. I need to figure it out. Oh well, not the worst problem in the world to have! I also need to get back to exercising! Between DH's schedule conflicting with mine and Keira now taking Karate, I have not been able to fit it in. I "could" do it at home, but I love my classes so much, it's not the same.

I seem to be stuck here... Maybe it's time to re-calculate my calories? I've lost about 16 lbs so far. Is that enough to make a difference yet?
I think you are doing fine! I am completely with you on wanting to see consistent downward movement after every down day ... or at least every other! But it doesn't work like that for me and many others. You started the month at 166, and your low of 163.4 happened within the last week, and that's 2.6 pounds down from the beginning of the month, in 2.5 weeks ... so about a pound a week. At your weight, I think that's good! You are definitely not in a stall, and you could see a whoosh at any point ... it often comes off in clumps for me.
