UD Thursday: Menu and plans
 
Lovely Thursday. Day after cinema night, night at the gym, and the ramp towards the weekend. :heart:

B: egg bake and Parmesan cheese with spinach and semi-dried tomato: 250kcal

L: cocoa boosted with MCT oil and lecithin: 260kcals

D: goat moussaka, green beans and griddled courgettes: 520kcals

Running total of 1030kcals so I have just under another 500kcals to accommodate my unmodified potato starch supplement (80-160kcals, depending) and maybe an after-dinner cheeseboard. I should really take more MCT but my supply is running low and the next delivery is late.

L: Hard boiled eggs, cheese, homemade jelly (made with apple juice)
D: Homemade burgers with roasted butternut squash wedges. More jelly

L: Small Wendy's chili with habanero hot sauce
D: ?? Date night and I think we're going to try a new place, not known for healthy foods. There will also be drinks. :D

Dawn - now that's MY KIND of date night. DRINKS!!!!!!!!

It's Friday-eve and the downward slide for VBS each night. I am dragging....to bed late and up early. It's just too much for this old gal!

B - toast / eggs 315c
S - protein granola bar 190c
L - chicken veggies 380c
D - roast and salad maybe some rice 500c

that leaves over 500c, I'm sure I will graze on the snacks at VBS!

I'm indecisive today. I don't know whether to keep real strict with UD calories, or go a little higher to keep my body guessing. I guess I'll just play it by ear and see what happens.

L: Homemade vegetable dumplings. - I made them for dinner last night for the roomies and couldn't eat them so I am so excited.
D: I don't know yet. Not really having a taste for anything. We will see.

:) That might be a bit of transatlantic language barrier going on there, i think it's what you would call jello, rather than jelly as in jam. I made it using apple juice (apple cider) and gelatine

Really enjoyed dinner after the gym. Had my supplemental unmodified potato starch and a cheeseboard. :) Some of us just know how to seize life by the throat, eh...

We have reservations, and I perused their menu on-line.

D: Cheese board (a la Slow Sure--I've been craving this for ages!) : Parmesan, Shaft's Blue Cheese & Brie, apples, grapes & currants.

Pacific whitefish burger with pickled carrots, onions & jalapeno with cilantro & Sriracha aioli on a soft bun, served with Asian slaw.

And I still have room for *ahem* several rum/diet Cokes. :jumpjoy:
