UD Thursday: Menu and plans
I'm thinking of going to the gym tonight to do a light workout and stretch my leg muscles. The large discolouration, swelling etc. is diminishing and I could really do with helping the broken-down injury products to shift. I'll be guided by my trainer.
B: MCT oil and lecithin boosted coffee - 158kcals
L: egg bake (eggs, cauliflower, charred red pepper, Taleggio cheese) - 200kcals with 35g ham and dried tomatoes (50kcals). 250kcals
D: Lamb patty with a mint, charred corn and red pepper salad and Shirataki noodles, dressed with anchovy sauce. 520kcals
Running total of 928kcals. If nobody offers me anything interesting, then I can probably have an MCT boosted cocoa (260kcals), supplement my unmodified potato starch (160kcals) and indulge in 3-4 cocoa-dusted almonds. :)
B- don't usually have breakfast but I woke up ravenous. Egg beaters omlette w/ peach salsa and a Trader Joe's potato hashbrown, coffee w/ hwc
L- Soup of some kind to help a sore throat. Rotisserie chicken too.
Not a well planned day at all.
I love an UD - and not just because I can eat. :cool: It's usually a good scale day. I feel content most mornings, even though I go to bed sometimes hungry on a DD, I never feel an urge to get up and eat right away. It's those SIRT1s at work. :heart: I don't like to plan all my UD foods ahead of time, but rather roll ideas through my head while at work and savor different foods in my mind so I will enjoy my dinner.
That said. Today's menu:

2 quinoa cheese bites
l/ V8 and tuna
Asian napa cabbage salad
d/ TBD: I'm thinking sweet potato microwaved chips (my newest obsession)
chicken, more Asian napa cabbage salad (love this stuff) and ice cream for dessert
B: lamb burger on oopsie roll with mayo, blackberries, fig, cottage cheese, almond/banana muffin
L: broccoli and mushroom stir-fry, lettuce, cucumber, baby turnips, fresh green peas, EVOO, yogurt, plum, 2 almond muffins
D: boiled beets
1751 cal/60 gr carbs

B: Had a Belgium waffle in the shape of Texas courtesy of the lounge in my hotel. I don't eat syrup on my waffles or pancakes (not a sweet eater) but I smothered it in some butter. Bowl of fruit with it.
L: Met a friend who lives in the town I'm in for lunch and we hit up PJ Changs. 3 steamed dumplings, 1 eggroll, and a small lunch portion of rice and orange chicken.
D: I hate BB, but, I am going to go with a co-worker to watch the game tonight. I was in San Antonio Tuesday night and couldn't sleep the noise from downtown at midnight after the game was so loud!!! I'm in other parts of TX today, but, everyone is still crazy for this game. I'm sure my food choices won't be good as we'll be at some sports bar. Thinking I might stick with chicken wings so at least I don't have a carb fest.
As I have 2600 cal on my UDs, I don't think all of this bad eating will actually qualify as an UUAD as I'm around 1300 (I estimate) at the moment leaving me a hefty 1300 for tonight. Just might need to have a few wings and a really BIG salad to go with it!
B: Coffee w/ creamer, Microwaved egg, Ham, Cheese on WW Toast
L: Chef salad w/ balsamic vinegarette dressing
S: Yogurt, String cheese, Coffee
D: No clue... But I'm at less than 1000 right now, so I've got quite a bit to play with (maybe).

I have not counted calories today. :) I started out counting, then went to lunch where there was no web site, no nutrition info and just didn't worry about it. I doubt I'll eat much tonight, but am having a few drinks. ;)
