Fewer DDs each week....?

Has anyone ever tried having fewer DDs each week? I was thinking of having 2. I don't mind my weight loss going slower.

Yeah google '5:2 diet'
I do 4:3 to work around my social life and it seems to be working for me,
I have Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday as UD's and Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday as my DD's. I try keep my Monday and Wednesday to more of an MD to balance it out.

I think a lot of us do variations and it works well! You can only figure it out by trying it. Like Gina, I do a slight variation, with M-W-F as DD's, and T-Th-Saturday as UD's, with Sunday as a MD. I have found that to be equally successful for me as when I do the normal EOD rotations.

There used to be a weekly 5:2 thread on this board, I'm not sure if they've kept it up but there is a crew doing 4:3 and 5:2 for more manageable weight loss and also maintenance.

Thanks y'all. I Googled the diet, not that it's that complicated, lol.

I've been working on my emotional issues with food and not worrying about weight loss but my blood pressure has gone up and I need to get that back down. Normally it's borderline low but once I pass a certain weight threshold it goes way up. I'm hoping the 5:2 plan will enable me to continue my psychological work.

See if you can find the UK 'Horizon' Docummentory online which has an accompaniying 5:2 book.. kinda makes all the health benefits/research etc,. make sense x

Start Date: 2/21/12- Low carb (199lbs) 3/28/12 JUDDD (189lbs)
I do 5:2 for maintenance. I love it, but to be clear I have lost zero weight since switching to 5:2. I first switch to 4:3 for maintenance and lost 3 pounds in that month so switched to 5:2. I lost fairly quickly on eod rotations- usually about 8-10 pounds per month, but have held steady with 5:2.
