You all may think I am nuts....I posted in the NSV thread yesterday about wearing the same pants from 10 days earlier and they were noticeably looser, without any scale movement. I can't help but wonder if it's from the hula hooping....at least in part.

You've just convinced me I need to hula hoop a lot more than I have been! How long do you do it for?

That's happened to me a lot! That is truly better than scale movement. You know what we always say around here ... "The pants don't lie."

I finally felt well enough to exercise last evening. Decided on the 20-minute Zumba DVD I have because I was thinking I may not be up to T-Tapp yet. Between the segments, I drank water. I have been doing the T-Tapp stretch, though, which I haven't recorded here.

Christina, glad you are feeling better, too.

Photo - thanks, Babs. Fun to get to see something from our exercisers' treks. Looks tough!

Mike, be careful in that heat. (whew, I know)

Putz, your slimming news is great. It must have something to do with the hooping - that's been your change over the last month.

As far as hooping....not really long at all. I try to do it through 2 commercial breaks. Its just easy and I think it's fun. And here lately its only been a couple times a week. But I think I'm going to increase that to every other day and see how things fit a month from now.

Nice to meet you, Candiceena. The Firm has been such a power in video workouts - I wonder if most people realize just how much. I have their Time Crunch Total Body workout and still have their first wooden step, which is so practical. I don't know Ballet Beautiful Swan Arms - sounds interesting!

Ballet beautiful swan arms does sound interesting.
I was to run the Banff half Marathon tomorrow but due to all the flooding in Alberta it has been canceled. I should make another exercise plan but so far I am inclined to take a day off. Hopefully I will feel a bit more energized tomorrow!

I decided to set up a computer so I could use it while on the treadmill.
But to do this I had to move some furniture, find something the right
height for the monitor to set on and then move the treadmill. By the
time I brought the computer in and finaly set it up I felt like I had done
my exercise for the day. I sure hope watching a movie makes the treadmill
time pass easier....

Babs, sorry the weather spoiled your plans. You were really about to have some bragging rights there - a half-marathon. Hey, there's a new Extra dessert gum flavor - Raspberry Vanilla Cupcake!

Hi, Mike, you've had a strong workout schedule!

E.W. yep, that sounds like a full workout right there, but at least now you're ready to multi-task and you'll probably be glad for the future. I've found that whenever the words "set up" and "computer" are used in the same sentence it takes longer than anybody thinks it will.

That would make up for the disappoint of not running the half marathon if there is a new dessert gum! We don't have the Rasberry Vanilla Cupcake flavour here in Canada yet. I start training for the Okanagan Mararhon starting on Tuesday so am already focused on a new goal. More sad to hear all the stories of the losses of homes and property lost to worry about a missed race.
Thanks for the incouragement on the exercise thread Whitlin!
