Kimmie, sunshine, beebop, Carly, Kissa, thanks sweet JBs! It's a team thing, this losing weight stuff. I am so glad we can all at least cheer each other on in the process! It would be such a lonely journey if we didn't have one another! Love you all, older & newer JBs alike. <MUAH!>

So how are the new peeps doing this morning??? Keep ignoring the scale gang...unless it's cooperating for once, of course.

I bet they are all doing great, either happily eating all the UD cals or enjoying a relaxing Healing Day.

I don't understand UK clothes sizes, never mind US ones Did you fit the Juniors Size 9 without any inch loss etc. and you're working towards something below that?

You're within such hailing distance of your goal I wonder if it's body recomposition rather than weight loss that's going to get you the results that you want? JUDDD seems to be useful for that as a number of well-regarded coaches and researchers approve of some form of intermittent fasting to promote body recomposition.

I've been thinking about this since looking at Kaleo's photographs on GoKaleo blog where she puts 2 panel images of her side-by-side, in both of them she weights 160lbs (she's 5'8) but her body looks very different. Likewise in the Erika Rice image I previously mentioned where the woman went from 127-136lbs but looked much trimmer at the higher weight. Kissa's reported that trousers are a better fit this year than they were last year although she's the same weight - which makes me think that some helpful body recomposition is in play.

WOE: Paleo Low Carb
Hello everyone! checking in!

I have usually been keeping my DD schedule to M,W,F...decided this week to just keep the rotation so here I am on a Sunday on a DD. I need to be able to control what I eat even with family around! The week after next we are going camping for a week and I am trying to figure out what I will do..thinking alternate day fast until dinner but not really think about calories on either day. And avoid smores.

I have definitely had some body changes in the last couple years of starting some fasting and eating mostly paleo. I often have people ask me if I have lost weight...nope. I have some good friends that can't beleive I haven't. Mostly because I have lost a lot of the belly bloat and puffy face.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!

Amy, regarding vacations that is usually what I do most days- fast till dinner and then enjoy. If I'm away for 5 days 1 or 2 days I may have lunch if it's something I don't want to miss. I have only gained a bunch of pounds one time on vacation and then it came off pretty quickly once I had a couple rotations.

SS a juniors 9 is usually like a small US 8. Mostly the cut is different. I find Junior similar to Petites, but the brand can make a big difference too. Some Juniors stuff fits me better than things that are not petite, but my preference is petites. We have a store called Joyce Leslie that is nothing but juniors and I usually wear a medium when I go there. I got a couple cute summer dresses, but they are on the short side and I'm only 5'2". I think it would be indecent exposure if you were 5'3" or taller

Hi everyone!! Today is day 7 and I have decided to do rotations as MWF DDs TTS as UDs and Sundays as MD. So far so good, had a tough Friday DD, not sure why, but I white knuckled it through. Today is my MD and I feel great this morning...clear head, not tired or hungry, happy and I feel like I could do anything the last week has been hard in that I have felt muzzy in the head and tired...even on UDs. I feel great today though. In 6 days I have lost 3.8 pounds and that is a good thing!! Hope everyone has a great day today

Kim

That is a good thing! Sometimes there is a tough/hungry DD for no apparent reason. For that matter some UDs can be unusually hungry despite getting to eat quite a bit. Sounds like you are doing great.

I fit in the juniors' size 9 with no inches lost but I'm not looking to go any further than that. I was previously a size 13 in juniors so to be in a size 9 is an accomplishment for me.
You may be correct about the body composition thing. Since starting JUDDD, I can say my body has changed for the good. It's just these past couple of weeks it seems nothing is happening but that size 9 made me feel better about my body.

Kim I think making the rotations work for each of us individually is so brilliant. The good Dr himself I believe did it just your way.
