Thinking about going back to 4:3 starting this week to see if I can lose about 10 pounds. I'm really steady at 125, but I'd love to lose a bit of the belly. I just don't know how committed I am to going back into WLM. I think I'll do 4:3 this week and next and then see how I feel in July.

I'm sure you can do it, Carly. You're one of the most dedicated JUDDDers I know. I look up to you, and your steadfastness. However, you look so good at the weight you are now, if you decide to stick to maintenance for a while longer, no problem.

Aw... thanks Cindy!
JUDDD is so doable so I'm not sure why I even question my motivation level... I really don't need to be that "motivated" for something that isn't really difficult for me. I guess I get a bit OCD when I'm in weight loss mode and I have enjoyed being less neurotic. I should challenge myself to a non-obsessive wlm for this last 8-10 pounds.

The "less neurotic" will be harder than an extra DD

LOL, I think you mean less neurotic for you would be harder for you than *more* neurotic for me. I am a laid-back person, but damn it I want results! hee hee hee

What's so impressive about JUDDD is that people can lose at their own rate, and still be successful. I would never have been able to stick with any other WOE because I would have thought, well that's it, as soon as I started to lose a little momentum. I can honestly say that since I have been JUDDDing, quitting has never been an option, even though I have thought I might have to try another way. Turns out, JUDDD is perfect for me.

I love that about JUDDD, because it really is flexible and sustainable. I'm going to do 4:3, but still be "relaxed" about it like I've been in maintenance and see if I can lose like 2-3 pounds a month. July 12th is my birthday so chances are that will be a 5:2 week

On another note... Where is Soren? Soren are you out there?

Soren was away at a training and her dish washer went out and flooded her house although DH is home taking care of it in her absence. Not fun. That might be why she is MIA.

I went for my annual check up (OB) this afternoon, well first time in 3 years! My BP was excellent (she said) at 126/72. I weighed 10 lbs less than 3 years ago...thought I was heavier then. It *was* right after I separated from my ex, so I had probably lost some due to stress. I definitely wasn't dieting. Anyway, felt kinda good to get some positive early results.

JUDDD BUDD's! Sorry I've been absent lately. Summer yard work, and work in general have kept me busy. I am no longer waiting tables. Uh, yeah not my calling. I am however starting a new PT job grooming dogs. I'm very excited! I do not have to bathe the dogs, and I don't have to work nights. Yaaaaay! I also only have to work three days a week and that is exactly what I've been looking for. Plus, I will get plenty of movement on this job. The salon is only 10 min from my house too, so that will save me on gas!! As far as my weightloss I've been holding steady between 148 to 150. Would really like to get these last 10 to 12 pounds off. I've been "window" eating and haven't counted the first calorie, but I think I'm going to have to throw in a couple of DD's if I want to see the scales move again. Wish me luck friends!

Thanks Tierra! It is pretty cool for the most part. I love getting the really scruffy messy dogs and making them all pretty and clean. Wierd I know, but they look so different when they leave. Hopefully smell different too. lol I had to work 5 days a week at the last salon I worked in and it was about 40 min from my house. I was exausted by the time I got home and on my 2 off days I usually wanted to rest. I didn't seem to have time to rest and get things done. I will be working on thurs, fri, and sat. and that's it. I have always wanted a 3 day work week. I don't mind working saturdays anyway because DH is usually running errands or on the golf course.

Congrats JMBM at finding a job you can enjoy!!! Waiting tables is not for me either lol.

My three UDs have come back to haunt me. Trust me, I didn't think I'd get away unscathed. After a stellar DD, I only lost .2, so there it is. Trying again for a MD, because tomorrow will need to be a UD as well.

Librarygirl nice to meet you and congrats on your health check and weight loss. Hi JMBM nice to meet u too!! I'd love to work with dogs too making them all pretty. It sounds ideal for you, congrats! Also Hello to all the other ppl I've not met yet

I've been sticking to the plan and doing my rotations but had an UD that was too high and a DD that turned into a MUDD because I caved at 11.30pm and ate a bowl of cereal. So no weight loss for me but no gain either thankfully. My clothes feel loose and my appetite is getting less and less as well. I forgot how satisfying this woe is. I'm not as grumpy and don't feel deprived and that makes such a difference

Hi Majella. I remember you. I can empathize with you on the late-night munchies. I was *this* close to going in the kitchen in the middle of the night when I woke up. I had to talk some serious sense into myself! We can do this!

awww, majella, it just sounds like a higher % DD to me. No worries!

LG~ WTG on that great checkup! It's always wonderful to be lower on the scale than you were at your last appt! My b/p used to always be super low, but it was sure inching up before starting to lose weight. I should really check it now and see if it's going back down a bit. It was "normal" at my physical in March, but normal wasn't my normal, iykwim!

WB JM! congrats on the new job, too!!!

If the late night munchies didn't exist the world would be a great place! I swear! My number one problem is at night. I try to tell myself eating past 8pm is not an option unless its the weekend and I am out or something.

Yes, we had a tornado thru here while I was in Tyler with Mother! We're still are cleaning up. We lost so many big trees & our roof was damaged as well as the roofs on all of our barns & out buildings!! And 7 windows! Ugh! I was so scared for my DH & DS! They also lost power for a few hours after the storm. But, they stayed dry & were safe! I was terrified for them for a while & there was nothing I could do! I've managed to get a horrible sunburn while working outside. My DH & I put in 12 windows & a storm door by ourselves! We upgraded our windows to energy efficient ones. We've wanted to do that for a long time. The storm gave us a chance to do that! Second story windows are no fun to install(especially when your DH is afraid of heights!!)

I'll come back later to update where I am on JUDDD. I've gained back 4 lbs. but, I'm really ok with that!! I've missed you guys!!

Shari I am sorry you have had to go through all that, I can imagine how worried you must have been for them. If you have only gained 4 lbs after the issues you've dealt with this past month, you have been an amazing success.

I'm glad everything's okay. I knew you had health problems going on with your mom and other family members. And good for mom doing good! Sorry about all that storm damage. That must have been scary, being away and all. Glad everyone is fine, and stuff being fixed.
