We have had temps that are either too high or too low for this time of year, but this week coming is going to be in the high 70's every day!

Wow, great plan there, Einstein!! You are such an inspiration (NOT!!!!)

Don't worry what anyone else says. Why does everyone think they're an expert?

The scale was up after 2 UDs but I know that I had a lot of sodium yesterday (2 chicken sausages that were low in calorie but too much salt)! I am going to increase my water today so I think I'll be ok tomorrow. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!

We don't allow lost motivation here, 'cos we is a team!

I like it our way.

Kismet, it is only natch for the scale to bounce after 2 UDs, but we are watching the long term here. All will be well.

Cindy I love that!

Carly - wow girl on the sleepwalking 16 years!

It's rainy here today. We still need rain so badly I love it but hope others aren't suffering with loss of power or floods. We are watching the NASCAR race and will watch Rice baseball yesterday so it's a lazy day in front of the tube...which is good. Energy is draggin'. I will be glad when I'm "recovered" from the "cure" lol. *snort*

Honestly the sleepwalking doesn't bother me much (although I guess I'm not that rested) it's the sleepwalk eating that just slays me. It is utterly maddening to think I slept through the night when I wake up and realize hours later that a yogurt(s) or special K chips are missing. I don't even get to enjoy it. DW hides any fattening snacks each night so I'm pretty safe from any real damage, but it just stinks!

Have you ever watched the nightline epi about sleep eating? I was fascinated by it, and also experienced it but at a less severe level. Not sure if I can post this link, but it's on ABC (google).

Sleep-Eating | Video - ABC News

Turns out that link is Good Morning America radio, but I did watch an epi about this some years back. This is interesting though (the link) and talks about meds for it. Some people in the show I watched ate raw bacon with mayonaise in their sleep.

Yes, it sounds exactly like me, right down to smoking in my sleep when I was still a smoker and cooking on my gas stove! I have tried a lot of different medications and nothing has helped. I have never gone to one of the sleep clinics, but my doctor has been asking me to do it for the last 15 years. I really don't want to. It's much better now since we don't keep much of anything around for me to get into.

This is just so scary! I'm so glad you are managing better, Carly. It's miraculous you are safe and got through the smoking & cooking episodes unscathed!!!!

Yes, I definitely had angels looking over me! I burned myself several times, but nothing serious and considering I have mostly always lived in apartment buildings I could have risked the safety of others. I still ocassionally start to cook, but DW always stops that. According to DW I'm downright nasty and rude when she tries to interfere which is funny in a way, because it's so unlike me She says I say things like I'm not done yet (in a really rude tone) and you're not the boss of me... It is kinda funny if it wasn't so scary.

When I used to sleep eat, my ex would point out the crumbs or wrappers left on the counter and act disgusted with me. I was incredibly ashamed of it, and would often try to get up super early to check if I had left "evidence" and get rid of it. I haven't sleep ate in about 3 years now, thank goodness! Carly, you have a wonderful DW, and I know you're happy that you've got it under control.

ETA: I did wake up in the middle of the night on a DD about 5 months ago and eat 3 cookies. I was not asleep, however. I remember it well.

Love that Carly, I bet not many folks boss you around at anytime, asleep or awake. However, I am sure you are normally rather more polite when dealing with it.

Well I have to own up to allowing yesterday DD deteriorate a little.

My eating was just great. 1/2 a jacket potato with backed beans for lunch and homemade onion soup for dinner.

It was the 1/2 bottle of Sauvignon Blanc I shared with my neighbour that rather threw things out of kilter. My bad.

Ah well, it is behind me now, (not literally I hope) and I am making today a good day.

You crack me up, Kissa. I think that was definitely worth messing a DD for! I plan to do some of that myself this summer...if it ever warms up and I can have lovely evenings on the patio with my hubby again!

Sirtain, I'm not familiar with those (games)? Sounds like you're having a nice day!

I just finished writing my latest book review for Library Journal. I always wait until the last minute and stress about it until it's done. Feels like I'm back in school with a deadline for a term paper. Not completely happy with it, but it's done and submitted.

I am sure they will be happy with it Cindy.

Sirtain how great to have your eldest home, not as old as my oldest I am sure, enjoy your gaming.

Have spent the afternoon planting some annuals and generally trying to tidy up what we laughingly refer to as a garden. Now of course the sun has gone.

CindyK, that sounds like a lovely way to sabotage a DD!

My weekend could best be described as a 3UD un-JUDDD event:

Church trip to the seaside on Saturday. My determination to postpone eating till the mandatory fish&chips at dinnertime was blown at 11am by an unanticipated picnic on the coach.
Worse, we had a totally unnecessary (but delicious!) cream tea when we arrived.
The fish&chips were fantastic and the what-the-heck-we're-at-the-seaside ice cream before we left was pretty good too.
Not exactly a healthy day's eating - not a vegetable to be seen!!

That had a knock-on effect because yesterday, DH cooked me a huge dinner, then I indulged a distinctly unsensible craving for crisps and chocolate last night. As a result, I'm having a hungry DD today.

I won't go into this morning's number on the scales.

The good news is that my Spiralo arrived on Friday and I'm very eager to try it - but having to wait as long as possible for maximum DD effect.

OK, so I'm off to Google vegetable spaghetti recipes ........

Now I have to Google Spiralo.

Sounds to me as if you had a quick Peter Pan moment at the seaside. A daytrip can do that to you, especially in the lovely sunshine. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Aren't crisps and chocolate 2 of your 5 a day?

It was a fun day. I'm sending Peter Pan packing for now though. I've 6 lbs to re-lose and a birthday imminent!

The veggie pasta was amazing!!!!!! I made it from zucchini and cucumber and mixed it with tomatoes, ff Gk yogurt, mushrooms and smoked mussels on a bed of romaine, watercress and rocket. There was an enormous bowlful for only 235 extremely healthy cals. Would easily have fed two people - but I ate it all!

Up early and ready for boot camp. Tough workout yesterday and today will be more of the same I'm sure!

Scale was down nicely this morning after yesterday's fast. I'm hoping to slip down to a new low this week. I seem to only be losing a pound or so a month. Guess I'm enjoying my "eating" days a bit too much. I'm happy and enjoying myself, so as long as the trend is down, I won't stress over the slow loss.

Have an awesome day everyone!
