Ok, I know this is supposed to be 1x a week, but I had a *feeling* and weighed anyway... still feeling the gastro issues, but I think I'm on the mend.

9/5: 256.2 (after a good DD, restart).
9/15: 253.6
9/18: 250.4 I really don't recommend gastroenteritis as a weight loss method... but it sure makes for easy DDs.

It appears that I'm only maintaining with 4:3, even though I did low DDs of 400 this week. For me being only 6-8 lbs. to my goal weight range, I don't think it's worth me having such low energy levels that I'm not able to keep up with my exercise program. So, I'm going back to just doing IF 16/8 from now on.

I am seriously thinking about going to a once a week weigh and measure, now that I know JUDDD is working for me. So, until I can (emotionally) let go of the daily weighing and measuring, I am going to post my results on both this thread and the daily thread.



Highest lifetime weight on February 22, 2009 - 158 pounds - 260 total inches - 43.6% body fat
Started Atkins on March 15, 2009 - 150 pounds - 2650.25 total inches - 40.3% body fat
Started Nutritional Ketosis on July 9, 2012 - 147.4 pounds - 234.25 total inches - 36.5% body fat
Stopped Nutritional Ketosis on November 11, 2012 - 138.2 pounds - 224.75 total inches - 32.4% body fat
Started Nutritional Ketosis on May 27, 2013 - 147.8 pounds - 234.875 total inches - 37.8% body fat
Started Zero Carb Nutritional Ketosis on July 21, 2013 - 145.4 pounds - 234.625 total inches - 36.6% body fat
Started Zero Carb Nutritional Ketosis JUDDD on August 11, 2013 - 141.8 pounds - 232.75 total inches - 35.6% body fat
September 3, 2013 - Stopped Zero Carb - 138.8 pounds - 228.25 total inches - 34.1% body fat

The darker color line is the actual numbers and the lighter color line is the 8-week average. As long as the average is going down and the actual is lower than the average, I know I am trending in the right direction, no matter what the speed.

Somewhat astonished by this week's number. And proud of myself for getting back to regular weighing. Here are my monthly numbers since I began (in bold) and my weekly numbers for September.

I have been in the 160s for two days in a row, and it is rather exciting to me. This is a before-kids range (and my eldest is 21!). Feeling good.

WTG Sirtain!

I'm joining here as well, as I'm trying something new. I'm doing the Spike Diet, but may use somewhere in between JUDDD numbers and Spike numbers for my lower days. There's a spike (very high calorie) day once per week, and it's recommended to only weigh the morning of the spike day, so as not to be discouraged. I'll still weigh every day, but I think it will be important to see the weekly trend as well. So, this morning, before my spike day, I weighed in at:

9/28/13 - 147.4

I'm interested to see if I can maintain this way. Can't wait for next week's weigh-in.

I reached my September goal of continuing to trend down, but I did not meet my final goal. I ended up at 139.4 pounds with 33.5% body fat. So that means that I lost 0.9 pounds of body fat and gained 1.5 pounds of lean body mass.

Hi all! I'd like to join in as I think that frequent weighing has been messing with my head and my progress. I only lost 3.8 lbs total in Aug & Sept and the slow losses have just caused me to derail (whether a little bit or a full-out binge). It's amazing how I let my weigh-in results dictate my mood, so I'm hoping that by switching to a weekly Wed. weigh-in, I'll stay on plan better. OK, I might take a quick peek on Sat. mornings too while I ween myself off the scale, but no more than that!

My goal is to get down to 149.0 by Oct. 31~

Oct. 2 ~ 153.0

Wishing everyone big losses this month!

Have you considered measuring with a tape in addition to weighing? You may have lost body fat and gained lean mass, but the scale will not tell you that.

Thanks Rebecca! Measuring is certainly another good way to monitor progress. In my case, I think my lack of progress is more due to me being somewhat inconsistent with JUDDD the past couple of months rather than due to an increase in lean body mass. If anything, I really need to strictly adhere to my UD & DD calories plus start a strength training program, or any regular exercise for that matter, because I still feel so flabby!

My DH and decided to weigh in only once a week. On Sunday we both lost! I lost three pounds and DH lost 2.5. We are very happy about it.
