I remember back in my Weight Watchers' stage (when I was starting yet AGAIN!) that I was very tempted to slip some lead weights into my pockets for the 'starting' weight, so I would be sure to have a loss the next time.

You might have to resort to this, to get your full luggage allowance!

My first weigh in since getting back was on Saturday. I was up .5 lb., but that's okay with the trip and July 4th. I overdid it on the carbs on the 4th, so I was actually pleased with such a small gain.

6/17: 228.0
6/22: 224.5
6/27: 223.5
7/13: 224.0

Not changing my siggy because I know it'll be gone Saturday. It'd better be, anyway.

I have been weighing myself every 7 DDs, so two weeks.

June 5 225
June 17 219
July 2 214
July 16 211

14 pounds in 6 weeks. While not exactly *amazing* diet weight loss results, certainly the best results I have had in a long time over several diets.

Aww thanks everyone.

I don't mean to sound like an ingrate when I say 14 lbs in 6 weeks isn't exactly "amazing"; I just mean it is not one of those 30 lbs in a month!! kind of things. It's really the only program that has worked for me in a long time, and I have tried a variety, so I am super grateful for it and very pleased to be getting these results even if it isn't First Magazine cover worthy

Hi guys!
I'm back from my latest business trip. I know I need to do better on these things... I have another one in August, to CA, where I think I can stick to my plans much better.

Anyway-- I weighed on Monday (got home sunday night) and was 254.

Today, I'm 251.8.

I'll take it!

See ya next week!

Way to JUDDD that business trip, Soren! Great work!

Vanilla, I betcha that .5 will be gone along with its friends .4 and .6 and so on. Such a small gain after a few fun days seems like a very good sign!

Oh, Macci, I wish our predictions would have come true. I weighed this morning and I'm the same. I've been doing a true EOD instead of my 3DD, 3UD, 1MD schedule, so I was hopeful. I admit it doesn't help my inner ego as I really thought I'd be down another 1 lb. or more. Thanks for the good thoughts, though! Maybe next week.

Aww, I am sorry, Vanilla -- I know how much an uncooperative scale sucks--been there myself despite best efforts so big . But that lying scale will have to admit the truth one of these days, and soon. In the meantime have you had some NSVs in place of weight loss?

The hop downward has stuck around. Very pleasing.

202.0 3/5
195.0 3/30
188.0 4/27
185.0 5/25
181.5 6/30
177.5 7/6
177.5 7/14
174.5 7/20

I was looking at my numbers, and noticing something interesting. Apart from the first month when I lost any 'water weight' and had that thrilling 7 pounds my drops have been:

3 pounds - 3 pounds - 3.5 pounds

Very respectable, right around the 1 pound per week, and with my early 7 pounds, I am averaging a little more per week.

But now, after several months, it looks like I might be heading for a larger drop this month. It will be interesting to see what it ends up being, and if my body goes back to a calmer 3 pounds per month after that.

People have started noticing my weight change, and I wonder if my body reached some sort of comfort level, and is moving things around. Maybe getting rid of some waste that has piled up during the fat-burning. (I know, not very scientific!)

I am not really low carbing at all to be honest, just doing JUDDD. I eat mostly unprocessed foods and avoid grains and starches on my DDs, and eat what I like, within reason, and to calorie limits on UDs. (I also stick to calorie limits on and DDs). If I really want say an ice cream sundae on an UP, I will have it, but then I will work the rest of my UP calories around that. Most times

Thanks, ladies. I am pretty normal today. Drinking my home version of sports drink to get back some electrolytes. The 8 ppunds is silver lining to five days of stomach bug. Hope it doesnt come back as fast as it left.

I KNOW I responded to this but it seems to have gone into oblivion!

No, I haven't really had any NSVs. The only two that are ever noticeable once I begin losing a little is my jeans feel looser more quickly and my watch touches new territory. I have a couple pieces of clothes that I try on (I'm terrible at measuring), and I've noticed no difference there, either.

I've also never noticed any of the other changes that IF'ing seems to bring others.

I've been doing a true EOD rather than my MWF DD schedule, so I was really hoping to see better results. We'll see what the scale brings Saturday.

I haven't, and neither has Dawn/KeirasMom. I wonder if some of us are non-responders for the epigenetic changes (eg, SIRT1 regulation) that the EODs confer on others?

I'm just happy if I lose weight. I haven't noticed other health benefits, but hey, losing weight comes with a slew of current and future health benefits, so I'm ok with that

That's how I feel too. I'd love to have the other benefits, but my "JUDDD calm" came more than anything else from just seeing the results. And JUDDD continues to work for me whenever I go back to it. I feel so badly for those who don't get great results.
