Macci- great numbers. I salute you for only weighing every two weeks. I don't have the willpower for that!

June 9 - 126.0
June 17 - 124.6
June 24 - 125.6
July 3 - 125.6

Got my weigh-in a little messed up this week because of three unanticipated UDs in a row so I'm a couple of days off. It was still a good week. I had experimented with a double DD, and I think it helped me to stay stable despite the UDs.

Thank you, Sirtain, but the truth is it was fear that made me weigh so infrequently; I was terrified of a poor showing on the scale. (My last weight loss attempt was the SBD, and after 6 weeks on the diet, which was tough for me, I had lost only four pounds.) In the time since I mustered up the courage to get on the regular scale I finally received my new scale (the one that never shows your weight) so I have been weighing myself on that pretty often now even though the whole point of the scale has been missed

Thank you Kissa and FairyWren for your kind words and encouragement

Congratulations on that steady maintaining, CarolinaCoast, wonderful!

Is this a scale that records your weight, but doesn't display it until asked for it later? How interesting. It will be neat to look back after two months or so. There is a lady who is doing something similar, using her husband. She hops on, he looks and writes it down, but doesn't tell her anything besides, 'you're doing well.'

Yes, that's the one. It took so long to get mine that I finally just bit the bullet and got on the regular scale. It's a good idea though, for people who are afraid of being too discouraged by a big number. That smart lady sounds like she just saved herself $50! Good on her.

178 5/5 (Re-started JUDDD)
173 5/11
170 5/18
168 5/26 - 10 pounds down for May
166.5 6/1
163 6/9
161 6/19 (late weigh in after being away for the weekend)
159 6/22 (after an UD!)
157 6/30 - 11 pounds down for June, 21 pounds total
154 7/6

Three pounds down this week but i have been very low carb this week in an effort to sort my insides out so i imagine some of that will be water weight. Hard to say at this stage whether my day of coffee/butter/coconut oil helped weight wise but i will definitely do it again on other DDs. My insides feel very much better anyway so i'm very happy about that.

FairyWren, great losses this week! In fact, you've done amazing since your start date on 5/5. I was looking back in my journal and my easiest weeks of maintenance have been when I was staying mostly low carb. Since adding them back every UD, it's been more of an effort for me. I'm trying to get a few pounds off to prepare for my vacation, so the next two weeks I plan to limit the sugar, and I think it will really help.

Awww Sorry the ol' scale isn't being cooperative. Remember all the other benefits of JUDDD, and maybe it will keep you going. Pooticus just posted this awesome comment about the other health benefits of JUDDD on a thread that may help keep you motivated.

My series of numbers is getting kind of long to type out, so here are my end of month numbers, plus the last weekly ones. I had a nice plunge this week.
195.0 3/30
188.0 4/27
185.0 5/25
185.0 6/4
181.5 6/8
181.5 6/16
181.5 6/30
177.5 7/6

It is so easy to get fixated on those times when we are staying the same. It is nice to have a quick change.

Thanks, ladies. Soon I will be claiming it in my stats, and doing a happy dance. Also, splurging on some new clothes. I'm going to go on a spree at the thrift store.

Enjoy your spree! I don't know about there, but here all the nicest things in the thrift store (mostly but not always called a charity shop in the UK) seem to be in small sizes!

Hey all, I'm back. Have been, actually, but with all that was going on both while I was away and the holiday, I took another mini break from the board. I did very well while I was gone considering I was in another country!! Not so much with staying on my JUDDD schedule, but my overall eating.

But, since I usually take 2 steps forward, 3 steps back, I feel my usual bloated self and feel my prior progress is out the window. We'll see Saturday.

to you losers!

to those not doing so well. I can relate.

A STS for me this week, not unhappy about that though, i've felt bloated all week, guess things will start to move again soon - perhaps my body is "regrouping" after the losses of the last few weeks.

Good news is that i've lost a half inch off both my waist and my hips (didn't measure my boobs).

My update:

195.0 3/30
188.0 4/27
185.0 5/25
181.5 6/30
177.5 7/6
177.5 7/14

My weekend weigh-in was back up after a rather thrilling drop earlier in the week, but it all looks good to me. That lower number is just a promise of what is to come.

That's great about your waist measurement, FairyWren, but I'm starting to worry that you won't be allowed to take much on your backpacking trip (luggage at 10% of body weight) at the rate you are going!

Yes, my backpack is all packed and weighing in at 15 pounds - and that's without food and water! - i'd better up my calories i think, i don't want to have to start dumping stuff out...

Well done on your STS, yes i'm sure your drop from during the week will return very soon!
