Can't believe how well this is working for me, and I'm having a blast! Saturday I had a road trip home of 6.5 hrs and ate junk in the car. It was so much fun! Don't know if I'll ever be able to kick this habit of food for recreation, but as long as I'm maintaining, I guess it's ok.

Y'all are doing awesome!

Most of you know my "dieting" history with JUDDD, so I'm not even going to go over it again. Sadly, I'm up 20 lbs. from my lowest JUDDD weight pre-surgery last year.

I'm beginning again today, aiming to stay low(er) carb. Since today is my official re-start (to the nth power) I'm posting today's damage but will use Saturdays as my weigh-in day.

6/17: 228.0

Thank you! Hope is what I live for being I've been on this dieting journey for over 30 years. JUDDD gave me my greatest success, just kept falling off the wagon.

Congrats on the weight coming off!

Not weighing this morning was hard, especially since my jeans felt considerably better than yesterday, just being one day back on the journey. I thought about it, but I'm going to stick with just truly weighing once a week. The bounce drives me insane!

Yup, same here - went on my first diet at age 18 and here i am in my early 50s and still doing this! I have to say JUDDD feels like the one after all these years. But yes it is so easy to fall off. I feel determined to give this my best shot now

Yay, FairyWren! Look at you go.

I am almost to where you started, so I'll be chugging along, 18 pounds behind you. Since I am many weeks into it, my progress won't be as quick, but after I read your numbers, I allowed myself a brief fantasy of me getting to 161 6 weeks from now.

It was nice.

Well i always seem to lose the first wee bit quickly but you can bet that when i get to around 146 things will slow to a snail pace and i'll have to exercise patience.

But that is the great thing about this forum isn't it - all the lovely JUDDD buds that have been there before us and have stuck with it week after week and got to goal without giving in - i'm thinking about Kissa, Keira'sMom, adillenal, Carly, zipp2play, SlowSure, LoCarbGal, gotsomeold - all an amazing inspiration and testament that it CAN be done! (Sorry if i forgot anyone...)

I'm surprised at my progress this week considering how much less I exercised.

June has been a rough month complete with a break-up the first weekend and a car accident Monday night for which I was at fault, but I'm hanging in there just the same.

I got the biggest ego booster ever yesterday evening at the chiropractor (my first visit). He said my injuries would have been worse had I not been fit. I know the appropriate response to a compliment is "thanks" and a smile......but you can call me Grace because I responded with a blank stare followed by "say what?" I have NEVER been called "fit" before.

So hook or crook, I will not be derailed lol!

Hang in there Demonica!

WTG Meggen and Macci! 6 lbs - that's a newborn!

Sirtain and CarolinaCoast, you are officially my maintenance heroes!

VanillaLatte, I've been at it as long as you We're going to get it done this time.

Great job FairyWren - that's 2 more down!

I am really loving this thread. It gives me a feeling of comradely that is not high pressure at all. Thanks everyone!

Congratulations on the continuing losses. My bogeyman was 140lbs but between JUDDD and a couple of experiments I just jumped straight through it after havering around for weeks.

It's odd to see my name in that list but rather lovely. Thank you.

Yes, LCG is definitely a wearer of the JB Cheerleading & Support teamstrip (do I mean sweatshirt, no matter how unladylike that sounds as teamstrip sounds a bit sports team?).

Good grief - I missed that happening. I'm assuming you're largely OK but what an unpleasant shock.

If you're needing to work through inflammation etc. from the accident, it's probably wise to keep away from exercise-induced inflammation this week. Get well soon.

Evie, you are so sweet. We do our best to try to help. I fear we occasionally step on people's toes, but never with intent.

SouthernBelle, that is not good. A bruised heart and body all within one month seems just too unfair. I love that you have taken the best from it, good for your Chiropractor.

Thanks for the concern, advice, and well wishes. I have been taking it easy this week. My second appointment is this evening where I'll find out more, but it seems I only have soft tissue damage. If all is well, I'll pick up with my regularly scheduled program lol Monday.

That being said, I'm planning a good fashioned cheat for either Saturday night or Sunday afternoon so don't expect much when I weigh in next Thursday. I have not taken a moment to properly wallow so I may as well get that out of the way now, pull myself together, and then go to work on this last 5.

No worries indeed plus you're still on the same street. I consider fluctuations a couple of lbs one way or the other maintenance. That's one of the reasons why I don't weigh myself more than once a week.

I keep reading your stats backwards as most go from greatest weight downward. When I first looked at this thread I was like - why is she happy, she's gaining! Great compliment on being fit! And hope you're doing better each day.

I'm living for the day someone tells me I don't need to lose anymore weight.

Tomorrow is my first weigh in since weighing on Monday.
