Well, this is welcome if a tad unexpected. I wonder if it's an artefact of adapting to the MCT Oil (particularly while transitioning to larger amounts is having a somewhat TMI cleansing effect). Nice to see but I won't be convinced this is meaningful unless it sticks in this range for a couple of days.
How fun to get a new low right now! I hope it's the start of a lower range indeed!!

I ended May exactly where I started it. I'm hoping after TOM I can have an entire month of steady losses and get to Onederland.

I've decided to go back to WLM, but at a higher DD percentage. With my experiments, I've found that I maintain beautifully on 5:2, and very well on TDEE - 15%, though I gain when I go over my calories. It does go back down, though, so those are both options for maintenance for me.

UD 1759/DD 616 at 35%

06/04/13 - 160.0 - DD 323 (higher than normal weight after an extravagant weekend)
06/05/13 - 157.4 - UD 1710 (plus a few uncounted nibbles of Keira's dinner)
06/06/13 - 157.2 - DD 346
06/07/13 - 156.4 - UD 1738 TOM
06/08/13 - 157.2 - DD 295 TOM
06/09/13 - 155.2 - UD TOM

6/2: Didn't weigh (surprise pre-TOM)
6/3: 182 (after a DD, pre-TOM weight gain)

6/9: 176 ! (after a HWC only DD)

After a week of PMS symptoms, including a depressing amount of water weight gain, TOM never came. I'm actually still experiencing all the joyous cramps of PMS, but at least the water weight has receded. I weighed yesterday and today because I'm starting bcp tonight and wanted to be able to track the effects on my weight.

I did try LoCarbGirl's HWC only DD and I think having liquids only helped pass some of the water weight.

After a week of PMS symptoms, including a depressing amount of water weight gain, TOM never came. I'm actually still experiencing all the joyous cramps of PMS, but at least the water weight has receded. I weighed yesterday and today because I'm starting bcp tonight and wanted to be able to track the effects on my weight.

I did try LoCarbGirl's HWC only DD and I think having liquids only helped pass some of the water weight.
Wow!!!!!!! 8 lbs!!!! Good lord, I may have to give this the old college try!

lol it's only 6! Not that I'm complaining, I'm very happy to see those lbs go.

I think the HWC thing can really be helpful, not just because it's liquids only but because it's basically a fat fast! I have been having low DD's (under 150 calories) before this, but yesterday I had about 350 since I like my coffee very creamy. And it still worked! If you're a coffee fan, it's a treat too.

I wonder if I should give this a try. I often only have coffee DDs, though...so cals are at 45-60 since I have a bit of sf creamer & Splenda. It would be may more calories than normal with HWC tho!

Anyhow, good for you dee!!!!!

I'm not weighing today - usually I give myself Sundays off. Since I did a "fat fast" yesterday with Coffee/HWC for breakfast and cream cheese for dinner, I'm curious, but tomorrow will tell.

Goal is to close in on Onederland, and get there this month or next. Continuing 35-50% DDs most of the time as long as it seems to be working. 1968-2225 UD/shooting for 650-750 most DDs, but up to 1000ish. May include some exercise cals if needed.

6/1 - 207.8 - DD - (1158 cals, burned 1268? according to my online tracker? 2.5 hr hike in hills. Seems high, but even if it's only half that the net calories are in the right place)
6/2 - 206.9 - UD - (1989)
6/3 - 208.7 - DD - (682 - 4.5 hrs serious yard work!)
6/4 - 207.0 - UD - (2071 - more yard work)
6/5 - 206.0 - DD - (695 - last day of yard work marathon)
6/6 - 207.7 - UD - (~2000 estimate - yard work heat + insomnia + water retention?)

I don't know about HWC because I use MCT oil (with sunflower lecithin to emulsify it) but I add MCT to chai (spiced tea made with plain water or a mix of water and unsweetened almond milk) or cocoa (cocoa powder with almond milk). Using almond milk or cocoa powder will increase the calories so it depends on your overall preference/DD allowance.

Do any of the SF chocolate syrups make a decent cocoa-like drink? Similarly, are there good SF tea syrups? (I haven't tried many but I've seen green tea and peach tea flavours.)

if you don't drink coffee, you might like to try vanilla rooibosh with CO. It's yummy! You won't have the caffeine, which is possibly one of the success factors of BPC or coffee/HWC but you might like to try it and see how it works for you.

I also like BP cocoa, ie cocoa with CO and butter.
