Starting JUDDD this month hoping this is the plan that finally works!
6/2 UD ~ 222.4
6/3 DD ~ 221.8 (398)
6/4 UD ~ 219.8

I did very well yesterday on my first DD. No breakfast without second thoughts and lunch was a few slices of turkey with lite cheese. No hunger pains throughout the day just drank lots of lemon water anytime food crossed my mind. Dinner catfish with a large salad. It was when the night time snacking that nearly killed me! I kept going into the kitchen wondering if there was something extremely low in calories that I could eat. I did have a few peanuts just to have something solid and salty and it seemed to work.

Well done!!! The first few DDs can be tough, but it sounds like you are a natural.

I could have sworn that you joined JUDDD several months ago. I must just remember you from the LC threads.

Goal is to close in on Onederland, and get there this month or next. Continuing 35-50% DDs most of the time as long as it seems to be working.

6/1 - 207.8 - DD - (1158 cals, burned 1268? according to my online tracker? 2.5 hr hike in hills. Seems high, but even if it's only half that the net calories are in the right place)
6/2 - 206.9 - UD - (1989)
6/3 - 208.7 - DD - (682 - 4.5 hrs serious gardening!)
6/4 - 207.0 - DD

I've decided to go back to WLM, but at a higher DD percentage. With my experiments, I've found that I maintain beautifully on 5:2, and very well on TDEE - 15%, though I gain when I go over my calories. It does go back down, though, so those are both options for maintenance for me.

UD 1759/DD 616 at 35%

07/04/13 - 160.0 - DD (higher than normal weight after an extravagant weekend)

Well done tskb, on both wgt drop and self control! Late night snacking is my weakness too even after a year on JUDDD! I end with almonds and walnuts! Unfortunately neither is low in calorie! Sometimes chewing gum helps me when craving gets bad!!

WOE: JUDDD Maintenance. Ketogenic PHD.
Start Date: 11 Dec. 2011 Restart 1 Jan 2013
I'm continuing my maintenance break (started May 25). My goals for this month are to maintain and to introduce back some exercise such as cycling.

Previous low (May 25) 133lbs

June 1 135lbs (y'day DD)

June 2 133.8lbs (y'day MD)
June 3 134.8lbs (y'day UD)
June 4 134.8lbs (y'day DD 400kcals)
June 4 133.8lbs (y'day UD 1600kcals)

The stiffness is still with me (which is a surprise) but beginning to slack off. I'm quite pleased that I don't have weight-training tomorrow as it would probably have aggravated it. I think yesterday was the nearest that I've ever come to eating all my UD calories. (Of course, MCT oil and potato starch are using up a fair allocation without me even thinking about it.)

Best wishes to all those who today and my respect to those who don't see what they want nor what they should theoretically expect but persevere/come up with a sensible strategy.

My gardening is so behind hand because I'm so stiff. And my green beans have already been ravaged by slugs. However, you are so close to Onderland, I have fingers and toes superstitiously crossed that you're upcoming on the Whoosh Fairy's list.

I always learn a lot from your menus and try to remember to make notes for the next time I'm in the US or somebody I know is visiting there. (Thanks to you, I know that a small Wendy's chili, without additions, is now 180kcals, not 210kcals. )

I will always defer to Dawn in such matters - I've seen the calorie change mentioned in a couple of threads. Eg, DD Tuesday What's The Plan? I've never even had one or visited a Wendy's but I know it's a major DD strategy the next time I'm in the USA.

Thank you. I got really discouraged after gaining immediately after my lowest last week, so glad to see it going back down.

I was under 600 yesterday, so I guess that counts as higher, lol. I'm moving back to lower DDs though, I think. To be honest, the scale dipped to 179, back to 180, then to 179 and I jumped off.

Started JUDDD at 214.8 on 4/10/2013
End of May 2013: 197.4 for a loss of 17.4 in 51 days, average of 2.39 pounds per week
UD:2404
DD:481

Goal for June - get below 195 and switch to a working maintenance plan and increase strength training

5/31 DD - 199.2 - 980 - rest day
6/1 UD 197.4 - 4523 - weight lifting (935 calories burned) went with the flow and just ate what ever, a very successful cheat day
6/2 DD 200.6 - 1088, already went for an early morning run for 7.55 miles (1376 calories burned)
6/3 UD - 201.8 - 2467 - weight lifting (450 calories burned)
6/4 DD - 201.2 - 638 - 4.5 mile walk (463 calories burned)
6/5 UD - 200 - 2400 planned, weight lifting planned later today

Saturday's cheat day is sticking around way longer than I wanted, plus all the exercise is causing a bit of water retention. My weight on 6/2 was likely inaccurate since I didn't weigh in until after my 7.55 mile run so I was probably a bit dehydrated.

Tomorrows DD will be a rest day too so I expect a decent drop for Friday. I plan on trying to stick to my calorie ranges through 6/13 and keeping it fairly low carb and definitely gluten free to try to get below 195 before I go to the beach.

06/04/13 - 160.0 - DD 323 (higher than normal weight after an extravagant weekend)
06/05/13 - 157.4 - UD

I think they have changed the size on the chili. The formula seems the same. The website has different counts now for the small and the large (now 270 instead of 310).

January 2013 @ 165.0: Maintaining however feels the most comfortable with little bouts of WLM thrown in here and there.
January 2014 @ 145: Maintaining with 5:2 and/or JUDDD

What is it that makes chocolate and nuts quite so aggressive towards innocent women, strolling along in their own kitchens...I have to throw the cocoa-covered almonds to the back of a high, deep shelf that I can't reach in order to avoid their stealthy, sneaky siren calls. We only have them if DH fetches them, and he's rigorous about counting out 5 (2 for me, 3 for him).

2/3, I think that's a fair call.

It's getting so that we need a tickertape for some people so we can catch the moment that they safely traverse into Onederland. Good luck!

Your weekend bounce is coming off in a nice orderly fashion, look at that SIRT1 flow in action. I miss Happy at these times - one of my favourite of her sayings was something like: "Laws of dieting. All gains are water weight. All losses are fat".
