I've lots of empathy for this: I've gone through weeks at a time when everything I shed during the week appeared again over the weekend in time for Monday's weigh-in. Hard to believe but it does pass. Are you checking in with yourself in any other way - like with a piece of clothing or measurements?

No I have not taken measurements and I probably should. Most of my clothes are stretch comfy so it is hard to tell if anything is starting to be loose or not.

Sherri, you can't put on three pounds of fat overnight. You would have had to eat 10,000 extra calories! It's water, just keep JUDDDing and it will go.

Thanks for the reminder how much I would have to consume to gain 3lbs. I know I have tons of trouble with water weight and need to work on drinking more than I do. Smile

Hey, what can I say? It's normally a pizza & cocktail daily log, but I switched it for ice cream that day. When we were driving home from out day on the lake, DH said, "there's the ice cream place, anyone want some?" and I said, "yep! I have lots of calories I must eat still!" Hate it when that happens. I need to emphasize to the s that I haven't REALLY lost nearly 10 pounds in a few weeks. I had an artificially high weigh-in after a weekend of debauchery. At least 3-4 pounds of that would have gone away within a few days or a week even if I hadn't gone back to EOD rotations.

For the neither rhyme nor reason reports - yesterday was a lovely UD with a cheeseboard after dinner (which always feels so decadent and as if a public health lightning bolt will crack into the room and smite me because of the saturated fat, delectable blues, nutty raw sheep etc.) and today I'm down a lb. Maybe the cheese soothed the inflammation.

Best wishes to all those who today and my respect to those who don't see what they want nor what they should theoretically expect but persevere/come up with a sensible strategy.

I've decided to go back to WLM, but at a higher DD percentage. With my experiments, I've found that I maintain beautifully on 5:2, and very well on TDEE - 15%, though I gain when I go over my calories. It does go back down, though, so those are both options for maintenance for me.
