I'm continuing my maintenance break (started May 25). My goals for this month are to maintain and to introduce back some exercise such as cycling.

June 12: Well, I need to revise my goals. I can stay in maintenance but the kayaking injury means the cycling won't happen. So, I need a new plan.

I've decided to go back to WLM, but at a higher DD percentage. With my experiments, I've found that I maintain beautifully on 5:2, and very well on TDEE - 15%, though I gain when I go over my calories. It does go back down, though, so those are both options for maintenance for me.

Looking at your numbers, you're recovering very well from weight fluctuations and UUADs. They must be horribly uncomfortable yet you're displaying such good resilience that makes me think you will get your evacuation of your place-holding-water-in-emptying-fat-cells whoosh at some point. For your peace of mind, I hope that it's sooner rather than later but it looks like it's in the last round of planning before execution stages.

Oh thank you for saying that SlowSure! That's very kind of you. This is my first month back on bcp, and I think my hormones are still working themselves out a bit. I try to remember that I'm in this for the long haul, even if it ends up taking many years to get where I want to go. And the process has been much less overwhelming (and more enjoyable) since finding JUDDD!

Hi Goner! In the lower right corner of each post there is a quotation symbol with a + under it. If you want to quote something from that post, but are going to read other posts and may want to quote them, just click on that symbol. You can click that symbol on any post you want to quote from.
