So I tried an experiment. I needed to switch my rotations to have an UD today so I tried two DD’s in a row. I don’t seem to have a lot of luck with MD’s and I know that several DD’s in a row are not recommended but I thought I’d see how it would work for me. The first DD was higher cals than what I normally have on my DD’s with 350 cals (I try to fast and only have coffee/HWC and water).

My second DD (yesterday) I had 120 cals which included coffee with HWC and water only until about 7pm and then I was so hungry that I could have eaten the cat…so I had two dill pickle spears and one slice of turkey jerky.

It worked and I lost but I am not sure I will do this very often because I totally believe in the EOD rotations. We’ll see what my next weigh in looks like…maybe a bounce?

We will be on vacation next week and I am planning to stick with EOD rotations and maintain solidly in the 140’s.

I know it's water weight. I know it because I could barely put on my wedding ring this morning. I thought I ate pretty good yesterday. Didn't eat out, cooked all my food (which is so rare for me with my crazy schedule). So I was shocked to be so bloated. But I am. And I know I am. And yet I am STILL frustrated. Tomorrow's a new day.....

I did not expect a drop this morning to a new low after an UD and considering I feel like I have a brick in my stomach right now, but like all drops, I'll take it! Gonna give the HWC and Avocado (and maybe hard boiled eggs) a go again today and today will be my last DD until at least next Thursday when we get back from the beach.

I'm continuing my maintenance break (started May 25). My goals for this month are to maintain and to introduce back some exercise such as cycling.

June 12: Well, I need to revise my goals. I can stay in maintenance but the kayaking injury means the cycling won't happen. So, I need a new plan.

I've decided to go back to WLM, but at a higher DD percentage. With my experiments, I've found that I maintain beautifully on 5:2, and very well on TDEE - 15%, though I gain when I go over my calories. It does go back down, though, so those are both options for maintenance for me.

UD 1759/DD 616 at 35%

06/04/13 - 160.0 - DD 323 (higher than normal weight after an extravagant weekend)
06/05/13 - 157.4 - UD 1710 (plus a few uncounted nibbles of Keira's dinner)
06/06/13 - 157.2 - DD 346
06/07/13 - 156.4 - UD 1738 TOM
06/08/13 - 157.2 - DD 295 TOM
06/09/13 - 155.2 - UUAD 2500? TOM I got snacky and got into a bunch of stuff last night.
