I'm continuing my maintenance break (started May 25). My goals for this month are to maintain and to introduce back some exercise such as cycling.

Previous low (May 25) 133lbs


June 1 135lbs (y'day DD)

June 2 133.8lbs (y'day MD)
June 3 134.8lbs (y'day UD)
June 4 134.8lbs (y'day DD 400kcals)
June 5 133.8lbs (y'day UD 1600kcals)
June 6 133.6lbs (y'day DD approx. 550kcals)
June 7 133.0lbs (y'day UD approx. 1500kcals)
June 8 131.6lbs (y'day DD approx 450kcals) new low

June 9 DNW kayak mishap yesterday

I'm very surprised as I'm very swollen and extensively bruised and I can see a pint or more of swelling just on the worst-affected thigh with more at the knee.

Best wishes to all those who today and my respect to those who don't see what they want nor what they should theoretically expect but persevere/come up with a sensible strategy.

I find that if I start drinking my water with lemon early in the day - as soon as I get up - at least 24 oz. The rest of the day I will crave the water more. On days I do not start the day with water - I drink less. YMMV. Also a straw helps me. It's just more fun!

I've decided to go back to WLM, but at a higher DD percentage. With my experiments, I've found that I maintain beautifully on 5:2, and very well on TDEE - 15%, though I gain when I go over my calories. It does go back down, though, so those are both options for maintenance for me.

UD 1759/DD 616 at 35%

06/04/13 - 160.0 - DD 323 (higher than normal weight after an extravagant weekend)
06/05/13 - 157.4 - UD 1710 (plus a few uncounted nibbles of Keira's dinner)
06/06/13 - 157.2 - DD 346
06/07/13 - 156.4 - UD 1738 TOM
06/08/13 - 157.2 - DD 295 TOM
06/09/13 - 155.2 - UUAD 2500? TOM I got snacky and got into a bunch of stuff last night.
06/10/13 - 155.6 - DD 320 (-529 burned at the gym, Net calories -209) tom

I had some gluten free muffins my co-worker made so I really don't know what was in them, but they were not worth having, and I just need to stop trying to replace gluten with gluten free treats. Trying to keep it really low carb today.

Thanks for the tip. I do find drinking with lemon and not the flavored stuff or plain helps tons! I will try drinking lots in the morning to see if that helps.

Thanks! HWC is heavy whipping cream. LoCarbGirl experimented with some DD's drinking only HWC (in coffee or other things) and noticed a great drop. It also has the added benefit of not having to think too much on DD's about what you'll eat.

6/1 ~ dnw my son has had a stomach bug, but he is much better now!

6/7 ~ 202.4 not what I was expecting.....was hoping to be under 202

6/11 ~ 202.6 kind of expected...didn't count calories and I know my dinner was higher than I should have had, but I didn't really care. Oh well

I ended May exactly where I started it. I'm hoping after TOM I can have an entire month of steady losses and get to Onederland.

6/4 - 210.5 - DD (350) Coffee/HWC only day
6/5 - 207.0 - UD (2189) Sigh of relief. Now hoping to head only south.
6/6 - 207.5 - DD (300) Coffee/HWC only day
6/7 - 205.0 - UD (2198) New low! Wheeeee!
6/8 - 205.5 - DD (400) I'll take it! Coffee/HWC and cream cheese
6/9 - DNW - UD (2121) Pretty low carb until my gimlet at dinner and peaches and fudgesicle dessert
6/10 - 203.0 - DD (420) Trying low carb again today - feels good

Oh my, I'm sorry that happened - no fun! I always feel the same, if I've been sick or, you know, otherwise, I expect at least a nice drop. Hardly ever works that way. Feel better, and I know the inflammation/water will drop off very soon.
