Hello and Tracey.

I hope that you enjoy JUDDD as one of the several IF programmes that are available - as you can tell, it's very popular in these parts.

If you introduce yourself in the June thread, more people will have an opportunity to meet you and you can ask questions about anything that might be unclear to you or that you're curious about the practicalities. June JUDDD Newbies Chat Here

The numbers sound correct relative to eachother - but as we don't know your age, weight or height, or your exercise/whatever information you gave to the calculator, we can't assess whether those figures are correct for you (IYSWIM).

Well done for being navigating your way so far through your 1 DD.

ETA It sounds like you've started straightaway at a 20% weight loss choice. Dr Johnson suggests that not everybody adjusts well to their first few DDs so, for the first couple of weeks, they might want to ease in at 500kcals for their DD allowance.

Hi!

I put my data in the JUDDD calculator..I just wasn't sure what my true activity level was. I am not a total couch potato, but I don't know if that would make me a 1-3/week exerciser either.i might try the little to no exercise numbers the first 2 weeks, as I adjust my exercise plan.

I am 43, 64inches and started out at 143.

At the little to no exercise, your calorie numbers would drop to DD 330kcals and UD 1651. You might want to try the 500kcals DDs until you settle into them.

Definitely adjust your numbers if you need to - it's good to settle into your EOD rotations for 2 weeks or so before tweaking if you can.
