Uggg - bad bad DD.
First, I had a disappointing UD yesterday. I'd scrolled back a few pages and saw that that is pretty common - but, still, no fun. :down:

I've been stalled for quite a few days. :down:

Then, today, my DD - which had gotten progressively easier - has been rough. I was hungry from the moment I woke up, and coffee did not help. I ended up feeling so nauseous with hunger (huh???) that I went off my grand DD plan and grabbed a salad (I did forego the yummy avocado and egg and blue cheese and just ate veggies).

We all have those from time to time. I never really saw any rhyme or reason to mine, but others have reported good losses after a really hungry DD, so I hope that's what's happening to you.

Sorry you're having such a rough DD. I think we've all been there a time or two. But it sounds like you made a smart decision with just the salad!

I agree, you made a good choice with the salad. Every now and then there are some hungry DDs. I find broth or tea can really help.

Don't worry- up to 35% of your UD calories are still classified as "Wt Loss Mode"
Even 40 and 45% of your UD day calories are considered "Wt Loss/Maintenance
Mode". You just had a higher DD- not a failed one at all...

Yep, I have had some rough ones out of the blue lately and caved on some fruit. At least you didn't throw in the towel and go hog wild!! ;) a salad is hardly a bad thing, no worries!!!

I've had a few rough hungry ones here and there, but I've found that if I can manage to stick to 400 cals on a rough DD, I am rewarded with a big whoosh down on the scale the next day. I have no idea why that is. But now when I'm über hungry on a DD I remind myself that I'll be a lower weight tomorrow and then I drink a ton if water, tea and broth or have some extra greens like you did.

Yep, me too - there have been a few really white knuckle DDs. I too seem to see a loss the next day, so when I'm feeling that gnawing in my stomach feeling, I just think about the fat that is burning at that very moment and try and focus on the fact that my body is eating itself!
