Back in town- ready to join you all
I did this plan last year- for a while- then I figured out I really shouldn't
take advice from some of them who were offering it. I basically had a hissy
fit and left. I concentrated on getting through the first 16 or so months
without smoking, and thought I would get back to dieting later.

It's later now.

I'm going to use 400 (JUDDD site recommends 408) and 2000 (JUDDD site
recommends 2038) as my range. Today I had 370 calories (33g net carbs)
and I ate really badly (fruit & cottage cheese for lunch, ice cream for dinner).
I am trying to stay low-er carb, since I feel better eating that way (and it
also makes it easy to get the UD calories in, since you're not restricting fat).

I just checked- over the past 37 low carb days, calories averaged 1176 per
day. I lost 18 pounds in that time. I'm planning on doing more of the same-
only with a little more precision to my calorie counts. The past month has been
a high day, a low day, a low day, a high day, a high day, a high day, etc.
I am going to try to get an EOD type of rotation, but even if I mess that up,
I should be OK as long as I stay low carb on my messed-up day (that is
essentially what I've been doing for the past 5 weeks or so).

Well, anyway, I look forward to joining your group and getting to know you.

Hi Pami, and welcome back! 18 pounds lost is fantastic, and there's only more to follow. I'll look forward to seeing how you do going forward.

:welcome: Pami!

Thanks everyone for the welcome wishes. I've already screwed up, so now
I'm going to start tomorrow. I thought 370 calories yesterday would set
me up for a perfect UD today, but I didn't start eating until after 12 noon,
and I'm supposed to get up to 2000 calories. It can't be done (by me). It's
now 5:30 in the afternoon, and I'm at 375 cals; <1g carb. I can't eat close
to bedtime, or I don't sleep well, so my self-imposed cut-off time for eating
has been around 7 (for as long as I can remember). Hopefully, I'll wake up
with an appetite tomorrow and start eating earlier.
*Kimmietoo- I was in Atlanta [Alpharetta] last week

I wish I had that problem lol. I had coffee for breakfast and a sandwich for lunch, and that is all. I'm at 1200 calories and will get at least 600 for dinner, etc.

Have a good evening and enjoy your UD tomorrow!
