DD Wednesday - Plans, menu etc.

Cinema tonight which means Benedict Cumberbatch being nicely menacing. I've not seen any of the other Star Trek films but I couldn't miss this one.

B: cauliflower and spinach hash (90kcals), 80g tilapia (85kcals) and a poached egg (75kcals). Total=250kcals

I have 67 spare calories so I might have some glucomannan pudding later and take some dried kale chips, cauliflower popcorn to the cinema.

Good morning, all!! Happy Wednesday!

B: Light string cheese (50), no sugar added applesauce (60), coffee w/1 tbsp half and half (25)
L: Nothing
D: I am craving salad, so I will make one with lots of veggies and a light dressing. The one I put into my food calculator comes out to about 200 calories, and that is for a HUGE salad.

Looking forward to getting through this Wednesday. I hope everyone enjoys their day!

Cold and wet here, so unfortunately salad has no appeal.

Dinner: lots of cabbage, leeks and green pepper, with smoked mussels - about 200cals
Supper: glucpud - 108cals
Milk in tea: 45 cals

Total: 350-ish

D: maybe nothing, depends on how I feel when I get back from the gym

I'm going to try for a total fast today, to much thai and sushi yesterday. Stayed within range of my UD calories, but I always gain a bunch of water weight after any sushi. Going to the gym this afternoon so depending on how I feel before I go I might end up having a protein shake before hand, and then after if I need to I'll have some chili before bed.

Jen - Summer makes me crave colder stuff. Enjoy that salad!

Kismet - sounds like you have a plan!

Putz- doing well I see! You eat so little, way to go!

Mike - I bet it was all worth the water gain, wasn't it?

Me - today is an odd day. I will leave work at 3 and head to the hospital (which is 2 hours away) to spend the night with my sister. Hysterectomy. So, on the road, I will get a pop to sip on. My goal is under 500c. My DD's lately haven't been very low.

my options with me:

cottage cheese 80c
2 eggs w/ cottage cheese 180c
salad 85c
pickles 40c

HMMMM that's really low for me. Oddly enough, I didn't wake up hungry. Anyone that knows me knows I always wake up hungry. DH and I wake at 4:45 a.m. to get our 3 miles in and before 5:15, he can hear my tummy growling. Today...NOTHING! Maybe it will be easy to stay with this 385c??? Time will tell!

Yes, as ever, trying to tell myself the garden needs it although the slugs and snails don't need the encouragement.

I'm fond of mussels although the last 3 times I've had them I flushed badly enough to make me suspect I'm developing a belated allergy to them, which is a pest.

Yikes, best wishes to your sister and I hope the surgery goes tidily and that she recovers in a timely fashion.

Trying a very low DD. Haven't had one of these and I'd like to see what effect it has on the scale.

Green tea all morning
Broth for lunch (30 calories)
I ordered some gluc powder Monday and it already arrived (thanks netrition!) so I'll be making something with it for dinner. Maybe a chocolate pudding with almond milk? Estimating this will be about 80 calories.

Going to try something different:

2 97% FF Hebrew Nationals (90)
2 pieces of 45 calorie bread (90)
bit of mustard (10)
chicken broth if necessary (20)
pickles - 2 spears if necessary (10)

Comes in right at 200, unless I use the broth - then 220.

We'll see, I've never gone that low.

I ate half a banana with some banana curd so that I could take a painkiller (which works better with something sweet and a caffeinated drink).

I probably went over my allowance by 100kcals or so. nbd as Nancy would say - it would have been ludicrous not to have taken the painkiller as I'd already probably delayed it too long and it wouldn't work properly without the other items.
