I miss my JUDDD Buddds, life is crazy

I don't think the title to my thread makes much since, I will clarify. I miss posting here every day, but life has been so stressful lately, I just haven't taken the time.
In the last part of April and first part of May, I have gained back about 7 pounds. My stress is mostly about money, and I haven't had any good down days in awhile. We went to Austin for a week and I ate out almost every meal, including Papadeaux with bread and cheescakes! When I try to have a DD, toward the end of the day I say to heck with it and eat whatever I'm making for the family. I have to cook every meal for my kids, and they are picky, so most everything is something I want.
I'm trying to have a good DD today, I'm hungry right now, but trying hot tea, since that used to always help me in the past. I have gone back to school(online) so working full time, plus that, plus stuff the kids need is stressing me out, my stress level lately is pretty high, like 8 out of 10. When we wnet to Austin, I had an anxiety attack while driving, that's never happened to me before, i am sure it's just all everything adding up. My older son is going to go to college in Austin in August, and I don't know how we're going to make it happen, school is taken care of but housing and living expenses, are not. (we don't get any help from his dad)And my younger son is graduating this May. If I could just breathe, things would be better!
I know that coming back here, reading and posting is going to help me stay on track. greateful for y'all

Hey Sher We've been wondering where you were hiding. lol I know what you mean. Life has a way of happening doesn't it? Just jump back on board whenever you're ready. Lots of good post lately of others gaining vacation weight and were able to get it right back down with a couple of good rotations. I've been just doing 2 to 3 DD's but I eat in a window of anywhere from 5 to 8 hrs and I'm really starting to see the numbers move. Maybe try that and see if it's a little easier for you. We miss you and hope to see more of your nice comments! Take care!

Hi Sher! I don't post much, but read every day, and sure have missed you! I even started a post asking about you. Your posts always made me smile, and I hope you can figure out a way to come back to us. Stress can be a real downfall when trying to lose weight...I know that first hand. Different reasons, but was still stressed, and gained all my weight back, and then some. I'm back on JUDDD, but things are going a lot slower this time. Doesn't matter that it's slow, as long as it's going down!

Take care, and keep in touch!

Sher, you definitely have been missed. I always enjoy reading your posts.
Big hugs to you. Remember there is always a sunshine after the storm. Come back to rotations whenever you feel like it or maybe start with more gentle approach doing 5:2 or higher DD calories. Take care girl

WB, Tex!!! I'm sorry it's been such a stressful time for you. The other JB's have given you some good tips, but you know it all already. You're a Juddd star. Relax as much as possible, and don't force yourself to do DDs eod if you can't handle it right now. I've just come back from a 5-day break and enjoyed it immensely. 5:2 or 4:3 is fine for now.

Glad to know you're ok Sher. Keep your chin up and it will all work out. Jump back in whenever you can, even if its 5:2 which might make life easier - a DD when you can. Hang in there friend!

Sher - if his schooling is taken care of, student loans can help he cover the rest! My thoughts/prayers go out to you!

Sher, it's so good to see your post. I'm so sorry you're stressed out. What a great thing you're doing getting your son settled into college. And you are doing a good thing for yourself getting more education too. It will pay off for you and your family, I'm sure. Take care of yourself, and the eating will right itself in time. In the meantime, come here for relaxation, motivation, or even just mental therapy! We've missed you!

Glad you are hanging in there. One foot in front of the other, that's all I can recommend. One day you look up, and realize you are through to the other side.

My middle child is going to a college near Austin this fall. I'll look around when we're driving- maybe I'll see you whiz by!

Hi everyone! LCG, mental therapy is just what I need! Lol. Monica, I guess student loans it will be, I didn't want him to have to go that route, but I also want him to be able to concentrate on school and not worry about money, ya' know? I hope he is going to be able to get in the work study program too. Thanks Shari, TJ and Deedee. Welcome stardust!
That's cool sirtain! I'll be the one having a panic attack on I-35 lol!
I now have 2 good DDs under my belt, I will weigh in the morning to see where :-) I'm at(even though I have a couple good dds, my ud's have been nothing to write home about, and included candy bars, plural). I don't feel like a total failure, I am still down almost 30 pounds from where I started in December. And that 30 pounds has made a world of difference to my life.
Thx friends

Glad you're feeling better & in a better place mentally & diet-ly. (I just made up a word, some call Webster's!) Ok, I'm not funny at 11pm. I think I am, but I'm not.
Anyway, I hope too your son gets into a work study program, they have some great ones & even if he has to do a few loans, it will all be ok. You're all going through a lot of changes right now which can cause stress & turmoil. You should be incredibly proud of your ability to maintain, or at least not throw in the towel & gain it all back during this stressful time. I'm proud of you!!

Sher, the UD's will get under control soon, I am certain of it! I totally understand on the loans, but, if it gets him through college, well worth it.

Hi Sher, Every time I log on or go into my closet and look at that "challenge" dress I think about you. So finally today, I searched you and found you are OK, Thank God!

Darling, stresses come and go, if it's not financial, it's relationships or the kids or something else! Like Carly says, "this too shall pass"! But I'm glad you are holding your own there. There is no harm in going the loan route if the end result is positive! Look at us, we get loans for cars and houses all the time, education is even more important. Foundation of the future!

As far as putting on a few pounds is concerned, it's alright too! It'll come off when you get things sorted out and have time to yourself! Just FYI, I put on 10 lbs in a month (in my case excessive indulgence during vacation), what had taken me 3-4 months to lose, but just like you, the overall loss is sustaining me! My thoughts and are with you! Hope to see you on the forum soon

Sorry for your worries....I too have one going to college and the bill came yesterday and we said OK here we come student loans. My other son took out loans and we helped him as much as we could. He is two years out, working at a job he enjoys paying his loans back and all is good. It all works out. I learned early on that stressing, just doesn't help, believe me I learned the hard way!!! Good Luck!
