Down Day Tuesday- Plans
I'm doing another high protein Down Day, with a little vegetables thrown in:
And I will be doing lots of sewing and movie watching to keep my mind busy. :)
Progresso Soup (160 cals for the entire can)
4 oz sautee cajun chicken (120 cals)
over giant giant giant salad with tons of veg (maybe 40 cals)
bit of lite ranch (100 cals)
leaves 100 cals. left over for 100 cal. snack bag of popcorn at night :)
TOTAL OF 520 CALS.

My first DD, so checking in. Since I am in my first 2 weeks, I am following the advice from the book. 3 protein/Low Carb shakes today....lots of water.
My husband has a cute way to describe my DD. He is not JUDDDing, but being supportive. This morning he asked, "You are "Shakin It Up" today, right?" :)

Beautiful day here, sunny & mid to upper 70s. I'm just catching up on things that need to be done since my vaca. Just coffee w/ skim for me today. That's the plan anyhoo!
B: Maybe just coffee (5), or an espresso shake (120)
L: Small Wendy's chili with TJ's habanero sauce (210)
D: Either Miso (25) or a decaf espresso shake w/SF raspberry syrup (120)
230-450 depending on my choices

I'm thinking of taking my ptero later in the day to cover till evening since that seems to be when my weak period is. I WILL figure it out and the best way to make it work!

Hi, Tuesdayblue. I like 'shakin' it up', too. Although I have not done the shakes, I find high-protein for my Down Days works really well. Are you using a packaged shake, or making your own?
My DD today looks like this:
coffee, 1 slice bacon 40
1 hb egg 70
chicken broth 15
3 oz. baby carrots 40
radishes, red onion (cooked together) 35
Lots of mini meals eaten when necessary!
30 Grams Protein
2 Net Carbs.
I like the vanilla and Costco is having a coupon that will start this week or weekend for $5 off a case (limit). So, I am definitely buying more. At least the first few weeks, I don't want overthink my DDs and really keep my calorie count accurate.
B:coffee with a little cream
L:salad with shredded chicken and spicy mustard and balsamic vinegar
D:shredded chicken with some hot sauce and jalapenos
500 calories total
I had 2 UDs Sunday and Monday, and last night I ate until I was way too full. I haven't felt that feeling in a long time. I still feel full this morning, so I'm going to go as long as I can with just iced tea.
B: Iced tea
L: Iced tea, or coffee/HWC if I need it
D: eggs and cheese
I'd love to top out at 300 today, but if I do get hungry I'll be okay up to 390.
Yesterday was a bit UUAD with fries and burgers and such.
Today is fine so far-- have yet to take my pteroblue, so I'll do that and get some fluids in.
L: vitamins and flavored water
D: chicken thighs, and broccoli (50) or salad (30), yogurt with doublefruit jam
looking at 465 at the moment.
