B: Coffee, 1 tbsp half and half. Almonds.
L: Probably soup, as per usual.
D: Not sure. I don't know if there will be time to eat as I have to go from one job to another, and I'll be working until 8 p.m. I don't like to eat too late as it interferes with my sleep.

Have a fantastic Monday, all! For those who have a holiday, I hope you enjoy!!

Late night tonight; honors night at the HS for my DD.
When I'm 'stuck' somewhere (in a meeting, at an event, etc.), my brain always thinks I'm starving. Not sure if I'll be able to take my water bottle with me, but I'm hoping that will help.

Finally had lunch. I think I waited too late. I was famished. I added feta cheese and removed the ketchup. Felt I needed some fat. Had 1 oz. Have not had any veggies yet, but they are there when I need some.

I had a bit of a DD challenge today ... I'm sending home dinner tomorrow to a work friend who is recovering from surgery, so I shopped and cooked for the dinner tonight on DD. I will not state the deliciousness I was preparing here because it is a DD thread and all, but it is one of my best meals and included dessert. I am staying 100 cals under my DD max because I would be afraid to cook without tasting ... although I made it the smallest possible tastes!

oh, so in addition to the tiny tastes of torture I had...
coffee with chocolate soy slender
string cheese
Wendy's small chili
a carrot and celery stalk
for 350 cals. I can go up to 450 on DD so I think that should cover the tastes.

My DH has just finished a 3 day potato hack and is moving to the Adi hack for his DDs for the next few weeks.

Well done to you for 'budgeting' for the taste calories. It is difficult, isn't it. I do a fair amount of batch cooking for the freezer and I normally have to get someone else to taste it. I had to break the habit of sampling items I dehydrate as part of the assessment as to whether they're sufficiently dry.

I do my best never to waste food which means that normally I get people to scrape the last little bits out of my fruit preparation bowls when making jam or curd. There have only been myself and DH around for a few days so we've added water to some to make a cordial, but other items have just been washed up and I feel guilty about the waste.

DDs -with so few calories to play with, every little taste makes a difference.
