Put on 5 lbs on weekend trip away. :weigh: Lost it overnight! :jumpjoy: SPLOSH!! :lol:

So yesterday was a DD, this morning weigh in I was up a pound, how can this be? I am not sure what the deal is here and I am frustrated to say the least.

I only had 315 calories, nothing new with the foods, and lots of lemon water. What gives? Any of you ever have a gain after a DD? I stopped my Ptero last Saturday after taking it a week. I thought that it was giving me headaches, well the headache is a little better than it was without the ptero, still have a slight one though. Starting the ptero again today as it might be what was helping me on the scale.

I also noticed that my energy level has decreased these last few days. Maybe the ptero was helping with that also.

I only weigh after DD's, but I think I want to set a goal this month. Maybe it'll help me stick to my UD calories.

May goal: 180

That's only 3.5 pounds from my lowest April weight but the way I've been (not) losing lately makes it seem ambitious anyway.

Goal for May - Get as close to Onederland as possible. Starting out the month experimenting with three-day rotations (DD-MD-UD) with a calorie range of DD - <450/MD 1200-1350/UD 2000-2300.

Hi All,

I'm jumping in here for the first time. I stayed away in April as it was my first month and with some vacation travel (and yes a birthday) in there, of course I've been bouncing all over the place. I did hit a new low of 314, but, I'm up to 317 today (I know it is because TOM is arriving tomorrow). So anyways, I'll go with that so when I hit 314 again I'll feel I accomplished something. :lol:

This month it will be short of a miracle if I can just maintain this 314 when all is said and done. I have 16 days in Europe coming up and I'm not planning on dieting. So my goal for May will be to start of June without going backwards from here! 314 it is!

4/30 - 314 DD
5/01 - 317 UD

Really couldn't face the scale this morning after my carb blow out UD yesterday. I am probably starting the month with a handicap but am concentrating on a good DD today with exercise!

Thank you.......some days I get into the spiral of thinking I am not losing, but that is when I have to step back from the day to day weights and look at the overall loss. It definitely keeps me from letting the bounces bother me.

Hi Ring, Yes, I have had gains after a DD, several in fact and one of .4 this last week. I seem to have a gain after a new low. I whine here about my gain and then I seem to lose it the next day. :hyst:

Andy, We went to France for 3 weeks last Fall and I actually lost weight and I ate everything, real butter, real sugar, bread by the tons, drank wine by the gallons and of course creme brulee every night after dinner. We walked and walked and walked and also did a bicycle tour through the Loire Valley. I would bet if you are active which you can't help but walk a lot in Europe you'll be fine. :high5:
