I think it is finally time to lower my #'s (my birthday was back in March and I haven't lowered them since I started over 30 lbs ago)...I am going to finish out this month and start fresh for June.

Looking forward to my maintenance break that starts on Saturday 25 May. I'll have done my full leptin reset programme for 6 weeks by then (plus the 4 transition weeks that preceded it).

Best wishes to all those who today and my heartfelt admiration to those who don't see what they want nor what they should theoretically expect but persevere/come up with a sensible strategy.

2.2 pounds to goal and then I need to figure out a maintenance plan. I want to try to maintain between 190 and 195 but I will be doing a bunch of lifting trying to gain strength and achieve a better overall body composition. So it will be some form of IF, either JUDDD with a much higher DD or a Leangains eating window from 12-8pm or 2-8pm with some carb cycling. Weird to think about not actively trying to lose weight after 22 months straight of nothing but weight loss. Exciting but scary too.

Thank you! May has been good, but Feb/March/April felt like one big stall. I really had to experiment to figure out how to make JUDDD work for me.

I didn't post about this, but I had a moment where I thought, "Do I really want to do a maintenance break?" I was a little scared. 2.2 pounds to goal and then I need to figure out a maintenance plan. I want to try to maintain between 190 and 195 but I will be doing a bunch of lifting trying to gain strength and achieve a better overall body composition. So it will be some form of IF, either JUDDD with a much higher DD or a Leangains eating window from 12-8pm or 2-8pm with some carb cycling. Weird to think about not actively trying to lose weight after 22 months straight of nothing but weight loss. Exciting but scary too.

Thanks DeeDee! It was very helpful to see that a few other people also had better losses with higher DDs. This is kind of a paradigm shift for me. I had been thinking for so long that lower is always better for everyone on DDs, and that higher DDs were OK if you couldn't do the lower ones but would slow your losses. Maybe that is not always the case after all.

Reasonably pleased with this as I had gym last night and it was a decent workout so I'd expected to be inflamed/carrying water (maybe tomorrow).

Last restricted DD for a while as my maintenance break starts Saturday 25 May. I'm <1lb down on 4 weeks ago and I need to change my programme so a maintenance break will help.

Best wishes to all those who today and my respect to those who don't see what they want nor what they should theoretically expect but persevere/come up with a sensible strategy.

With a 4.2lbs drop in 3 days, it looks like i) you're right back in the swing; ii) that was water from your travelling rather than fat tissue from vacation indulgences.

5/5 DD - 205.6 - 684 - weight lifting/cardio at the gym and then an evening 2 mile walk

5/12 UD - 200.8 - 3599- 7.6 mile run/walk, the fastest average I've had so far at 4.9mph, heart rate monitor calculated 1354 calories burned, but that might be off because I still had my weight at 215 in the app.

5/14 UD - 201.8 - 2381 - Rest Day
5/15 DD - 202 - 387 - Cardio and weight lifting (700 calories burned)
5/16 UD - 199.4 - 2479 - Cardio and legs (600 calories burned)
5/17 DD - 201.8 - 819 - 7.3 mile walk (960 calories burned) Kind of a high DD, but I needed some extra protein.
5/18 UD - 199.4 - 3542 - Cardio and weight lifting (877 calories burned), so many carbs today, and wings .
5/19 DD - 202.2 - 618 - rest day
5/20 UD - 200.2 - 2385 - Short 3 mile walk
5/21 DD - 200 - 622 - 4 mile walk
5/22 MD - 197.6 - 1683 - rest day
5/23 UD - 197.2 - 2452 - another busy day that became a rest day
5/24 DD - 197.2 - off work for the next 4 days, so I will definitely be going to the gym today, under 500 calories planned
