I've decided to give JUDDD another go. I've been working out anywhere from 3-5 days per week including cardio, lifting, swimming, abs, etc. Today is a DD so I will weigh tomorrow.

My goal for May is to get back into the 180's. I'll say 187

I have not gained after a DD in the 5.5 weeks I have been doing JUDDD. It was a real shocker after a 315 calorie DD yesterday.

Happens a lot to me. It's sodium/potassium/electrolytes/assorted hormones, shifts in glycogen capacity, sometimes indicative of a little post-exercise inflammation. Scales can only give a context-free snapshot that provides a number that has to be interpreted within an overall trend.

TMI alert: it also happens to me (I think) because of the very low volume of food which means that I rarely have a BM and this tends to start *cough* accumulating *cough* after the 2nd DD in the week.

Sometimes we marvel at the complexity of the human body then get irritated when it doesn't behave exactly like an in-out processing tube.

Are you still going through a body recomposition phase? (Losing inches etc.?) I'm always curious as to the disconnect between people who seem to be repartitioning their body weight (lean v. fat mass) and changing their size while the weight remains more or less stable.

I was pleased to read that you had such a pleasant visit with your granddaughter.

I do seem to have phases where the scales keep saying the same thing but I suddenly look slimmer. That was very noticeable last month, when my disproportionately fat face suddenly caught up with the rest of me!
