JUDDDING with 5:2 - April 28-May 4
 
I didn't see a 5:2 thread this week. If there's one out there, my apologies!

I had a major bounce after this weekend, but it's okay as it was a learning experience. Starting at Busch Gardens Friday I had carbs (have been doing 5:2 in combo with LC) and got the cravings and just never stopped eating carbs all weekend. At BG, Saturday for dinner at a friend's, Sunday pizza out to lunch with my daughter. I've realized that I don't get bounces when I do LC, so I'll try to stick with that more often on my UDs. I have a tendency to fall off track on weekends, but now that I know what it will do I can hopefully reign it in and make better choices.

On a more positive note, I played tennis this weekend for the first time in YEARS! Since college I think. I had so much fun and am still sore. I'm sure some of the bounce is the water being held for repair by my muscles. If the weather holds out I'll play again tonight.

I had a bounce over the weekend too! Yikes! The good news? One day of fasting has taken care of that 1.5 lb bounce, plus given me an addition 1.5 lbs of loss! Yay! New low today! I won't change my stats till the end of the week, but I sure was glad to see that new lower number. It's been a long time as I've been playing with the same couple pounds for a month or so.

2 days of boot camp under my belt as well. One of my friends just started this morning and has talked me into going tomorrow too. I was going to take tomorrow off, but I'll go to support her.

Hmmm.......an eating day today.......and what am I craving? A big salad! Oh, and maybe a few bites of chocolate! :p

WTG Lori!

I had 4 free days this weekend and I'm up 8.6 pounds. I'm sure the bulk of that is water weight, at least I hope so! DD today and we'll see what tomorrow brings.

1.2 pounds away from getting rid of the carb bounce. Hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow, then I'll have my 2nd UD this week and will end up lower than last week. Bummed I didn't get to play tennis last night due to rain. :(

DD today. I actually haven't weighed since this weekend, which is bizzare. It just occured to me :confused: hum... is that a good thing or a not so good thing... glad I'm not so obsessed with the scale, but... I'll weigh tonight before my bedtime snack.

Another UD here and the company is taking us out for lunch. It's a belated Admin Professionals Day.

I've sure been getting the activity in this week. I did my 3rd day in a row of boot camp this morning and last night I walked 9 holes of golf. :stars: I'll be back to boot camp tomorrow for boxing! I guess I'll get 5 days in this week as next week I'll only get 1. I'm going away on business from Monday noon thru Friday. Not looking forward to it. Airport hassles and boring workshops. zzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I'm down 3.2 from yesterday's DD, but still up over 5 pounds. My legs are sore from all the walking we did, so I'm still assuming it's water weight. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! ;)

Oh man........weighing every day is scary! Not sure I'm liking this experiment! That nice low number I saw a few days ago has not made a reappearance! We'll see where I am at the end of the week.

Shooting for a full 5 days in a row of boot camp. I'm feeling a bit like this :stars:

Down a smidge after a pretty high UD yesterday. I was 163 point something when I got back from Las Vegas. Today, I'm at 159 point something (don't have my numbers in front of me), so I'm back to what's in my stats. I had seen 155 last week, so I'm still up, but not by too much. I'm perfectly content to maintain under 160 if that's in the cards. Some day, I might want to get under 150, but not now.

I finally dropped the weekend carb feast weight. Sigh. Won't be doing that again! Down another .4 for the week, so all is not lost.

Well, my low weight of the other day didn't quite hold for this morning, but it's only 1/2 lb more, so I'm still pleased.

5 days of boot camp this week!! :jumpjoy:

I'll only get 1 day next week since I'll be away on business. Guess I'll be logging some treadmill miles in the hotel gym.

I'll be on the golf course all weekend. Hope you all have a great weekend..whatever you're up to!

156.6 this morning after only my second DD after my trip. I did a bunch of calculations yesterday for BF%, BMI, ideal weight for height and age, etc., and most of what I'm coming up with is 150 is about as low as I should aim for. Anything between 150-170 is good, so I'm pleased.

Just got in from playing 18 holes of golf. We rode a cart today as we were at a different course. Tomorrow we'll be on our "home" course, so I'll be walking the 18 holes.

Only home until Saturday so this week will be doing regular rotations I think....

Sigh - didn't do so great this weekend again. DD today! Boy Scout camping trip and didn't have too much choice what to eat. We did do a 2-mile hike though and walked around Busch Gardens yesterday. Did not get on the scale this morning... going to wait until tomorrow! PMS isn't helping either...

Hey Ya'All :) I'm positvely, without a doubt going to be in maintenance mode after this week's potato hack! I weigh in on Saturday, and I am well tired of potatoes :lol: I will be following this thread!

It is my understanding to maintain the "loss" you have to fast under 500 calories 2 days a week is that right and then stay in your normal UD calorie range for the other 5 days. No 2 DD in a row either right? Just want to make sure I know what I am doing cuz' I am so excited to do this!

Howdy to all the 5:2 JUDDD budds. I am still hanging in and having a mostly downward trend...but, before I transitioned from IF w/window back into JUDDD/5:2 it was Easter time. I guess I really overdid it even worst than I thought because I gained 9lbs. I really believed it was mostly "fluff" and water weight and it would come off quickly. But, WEEKS later I am still not back to my low, low. Frustrating. I have been on plan, good as gold, even having a third DD one week. I have been playing my Fitbit numbers like a pinball machine...hit way over my 10,000 steps all except for two days that I *only* did 4 miles. Some days have been 15 or 20K steps. But, those supposedly fluff pounds are the most stubborn ever. I have never had this experience with a holiday/vacation gain before; but, I am continuing with 5/2, anyway. I just feel so much better on 5:2 than 4:3. I think the PCOS/IR/hypo will make the weight loss slower for me either way. I guess I'd rather be happy and go at the snail's pace.

Hi Ladies! I am very close to finishing this round of hCG and probably won't get to my goal (170lbs) so I'm seriously thinking about trying 5:2 once I get out of P3 (3 weeks long). I've had a VERY stressful past 2 weeks and that stress doesn't seem to be letting up and I just don't think I can do hCG P2 for the 40 days I thought I would. I feel like you HAVE to be mentally strong to stick with P2 for 40 days and I'm just not there right now :(

So I just wanted to say hi and let you know I'll be back in a few weeks to join you ladies :)
