I am thinking of writing a book...

About ADF. What do you think? My working title is "Over 40 and FAT: How I turned back the clock and started losing weight with fasting". :)

I've patented the title so don't steal it! :D

Wonderful news!

Can us JUDD Buds get a free copy!:high5:

TryingJudd 04-19-2013 06:11 PM

I'd read it!

Me too!

Do you need case studies? :hiya:

Librarygirl 04-19-2013 06:28 PM

My only hinderance is the amount I've lost. :D I think it would sell better if I were near or at goal. By then, the market might be saturated!

Librarygirl 04-19-2013 06:29 PM

Yes, Dawn, it would be awesome if I could site this forum and the members...not sure how LCF would feel, although it would be free advertising for them. :)

I like the title:). And that is the perfect age group to target, as they will be the ones wanting to know your secret and also the ones buying the book:)

calichris 04-19-2013 07:32 PM

Like the title! I say write it now, and then when it's ready to publish you'll have lost even more.

Why not? The ones on that subject I've sampled on amazon/kindle are pretty lame, I wouldn't even pay the $.99 for them.

Librarygirl 04-20-2013 05:07 AM

I'm glad you all are in favor of it. :) Now, who wants to volunteer as "subjects"? :D

Subject I am, ready and waiting!

I think it is a great idea. I always like to read in-depth stories of HOW people did it, what ever IT is. The short blurbs in most diet books are just teasers.
It will be more effective if you are at goal. Start writing now, and see where you are at by the time your ms is finished.

LoCarbGal 04-20-2013 07:28 AM

Great idea! In fact, you could write it as sort of a journal of your jouney. What you're going through at each stage, how it feels when you stall and need to tweak, etc. And yes, by the time you're done maybe you'll be at or close to goal!

mom23kids 04-20-2013 07:53 AM

Excellent idea! I've also thought about doing this, (I have a writing degree and would actually like to use it at some.point lol), but I did not do pure JUDDD, since I did so many hacks during my weight loss, and also did'nt keep good rec ords while I was losing, so I let the idea go. I am toying with the idea of writing something about my primal eating transition though :D

Go for it!

JMBM 04-20-2013 08:12 AM

I think it's a great idea! Plus, I think you'd have an edge because of all your personal experiences as well as the experiences you've witnessed with all the JB's. Real life experiences "to me" is what speaks to people. And the forgiveness of the plan and how you get an off day EOD, or only fasting 2 to 3 days a week. So many tweaks to share!

Feel free to use my statistics, and it would be great to include the importance of this support system here, which think is one of the most important aspects of all of our success.
1. Start the diet/get a support system, simultaneously.
2. Enjoy life!
3. It really is that simple. Yes there are struggles along the way, but the support system is KEY.
