Today was my first day on the plan. It was probably about a 3 for me.

I went 100 over on my calories... :-/

Going to sleep early (i hope) as I did not get much sleep last night and I want to reach back into the fridge for the hummus... can't do it.

Thanks Lisa, the trick with the Shiritake is strong flavours I think.

Wow Slow you did have a bad day, it must have been your biorhythms, lol, no one talks about those anymore. And now I read you think you have a migraine starting! Not fair, really, not fair.

I am having a 4 so far. I am in a seriously bad mood over the hacking of my email account. All messages were forwarded to a scurrilous account for almost 24 hours and they had my contact so. I feel so bad.

Not hungry though.

Now for a day of sorting through boxes of stuff that I need to throw out! Should keep my mind off food.

I'm spending my lunch in the dark with an ice-pack on my head. Oddly enough, I met a friend for dinner on Tuesday evening and she suggested that I must have been having a triple-critical with my biorhythms.

Thank you

Agreed with Cindy, they need either strong flavours or to be in a good broth with some other vegetable such as tomato, bell pepper, zucchini/courgette. I've grown rather fond of Shirataki and purchase both the vermicelli and flat ribbon size by the case.

I rather like the Shirataki noodles as well - I added cabbage, mushrooms and chicken broth with 1 laughing cow cheese wedge stirred in.

Today's DD is a 5 so far! No hunger, eating what I planned - staying at my 350 calories!

I actually ate them with broccoli and a tablespoon of pasta sauce. It was horrible. There's was just a little after taste. I'm going to try them again next week and add mushrooms.

Alright I guess. I suddenly have a headache so I mixed myself a cup of broth. Not hungry but feel it might help my head. Should make it through the day without a hitch though.
I too like the Shirataki noodles except I have Miracle Noodles this time around but they are pretty much the same except different shapes.

DD was a 5 here, as it was PH day for me and I do better (more weight loss) on these when I exceed the alloted calories. I can't do PH DDs too frequently as they start to bother me if I eat them often.

Shiratki takes some time to get used to. My first experiences with trying it several years ago left me very unhappy and I ended throwing out about a half dozen unused bags. I've always been very sensitive to food smells/odors and it just seemed that anything couldn't smell like that and be fresh.

I have now grown to consider it a kitchen essential and use it ALOT. I use the powder extensively but have not yet perfected the homemade noodles and rely on online purchases for those.

It can be a real lifesafer when you are having an especially hard DD. My most recent experiment with it making a quasi-pudding with fresh chocolate mint/water/truvia/konjac powder quite literally saved the DD for me recently.

DD was definitely a 5. Felt great all day, and will end the day at 180 calories. Walked around the city, had a refreshing and delicious iced coffee with creamer, and didn't feel at all deprived. After doing a few DD's after a MD, I think a DD after an UD just feels a million times easier.

today is

about a 3. I'm hungry but not crazy, gotta eat hungry. I plan to eat a whole can of progresso soup tonight for about 260 cals and I'm so looking forward to it. I hope I can just stick with 260 cals for the day and not eat anything else tonight. Fingers crossed.

Way better than my last DD!
I'd say today is turning out to be a 5.
A little hungry this morning before coffee. Boredom before my lunch break made me want to eat (but not true hunger). And I held out until 3pm for my HB egg & string cheese.

It might sound boring... but my "usual" DD dinner of chicken breast & Italian blend veggies seems to work just great!

Pretty good so far. I've had a coffee/hwc and not feeling at all hungry, although I am thinking about eating lunch. I'm thinking about some pasta and LC cheese and maybe some diced tomatoes for dinner. I usually go for more protein, so this may be TOM talking. We'll see what I decide later...

Not too bad, early start for work today so was up at 5am. Stuck to liquids (water and black coffee) all day and was feeling pretty peckish by the time i got home around 5pm - got started on cooking straight away!

Today was a 4 (verging on a 5 as i wasn't ravenously hungry)

This has been a 5. I had boundless energy and cleaned out my pantry and fridge. A mammoth task, all on 2 coffees.

It should have been an UD but, at 5 pm, we made plans to eat out with friends tomorrow night. I had only just broken my fast with a slice of Lemon Polenta cake and a cup of tea!

So, this evening, post theatre, we went to a Japanese and I had some tuna sashimi, miso soup, pickles and a glass of rose.

Probably 700. A low MD or a high DD, take your pick

My DD started as a 5. Early this evening I started feeling really off and weak though. It lasted about an hour and passed. Not sure what was up. I did have more caffeine today than usual and I didn't have anything to eat until around 5. Not sure.. Only my 3rd day on judddd

Had a great DD today. I ate more produce than anything else, which is unusual for me being a protein girl. But it's what I wanted today and I enjoyed it. This evening around 8pm I just crashed. All of a sudden I felt sleepy and exhausted. I could have fallen asleep easily if I had just laid around. I'm feeling a bit more awake now, but it'll be bedtime soon and will feel good.

I'll give today a 4

I felt like i wanted to eat something this afternoon although i didn't actually feel hungry, strange. Head hunger i think, maybe because i was tired. I told myself well, make it a medium day instead. As soon as i got home from work i had yoghurt and honey which was on my plan for today. Had a couple of cups of coffee and i didn't feel hungry any more so it stayed as a DD

Still feeling a bit rough from the migraine. It could have been far worse tho' so today's probably a 3 so far and if it stays warm, when DH and I are home we might go for a stroll in the park which would definitely make it a 4.

Today's DD is a 3 - ok. I'm holding off on eating as long as I can, as I seem to feel physically better when I do. If today ends on a 3 that will be ok too. Have to say my head is thinking about my UD tomorrow and going over food choices!

4- not hungry, but not energetic. Not only not energetic, but down right tired. I'm not accustom to dragging on a DD

I had 2 cups of coffee for about 60-70 calories. It's 7:43pm so bedtime snack will be soon. Not craving anything yet. I made a low cal chocolate pudding and I also have some celery sticks chopped up Maybe laughing cow on Kavli Crisp Bread

I want to be asleep soon!!!!!!!!!!!

DD today at a 3 so far, but I'm nervous as I forgot to take my pterostilbene today and mentally I have been telling myself it keeps my appetite at bay. Physically I believe it helps also - but I do have a problem with emotional eating at times, and with the constant rain in my area of the world I have been feeling the need to comfort myself with food.

My hubby and I are eating out tonight and hopefully I can just order about 150 calories of something without looking at the menu or drooling.

It's only 9am but this DD is off to a good start because I had a good sleep last night for the first time since last Saturday's mishap (I hurt myself in a kayaking mishap).

I may be a bit peckish later because I've been on bed rest which means that DH has been handling the catering. He'd forgotten to take out the items I'd requested from the freezer so last night was cheese, some vegetables and mustard. I was going to have some chocolate to make up the calorie deficit but he didn't serve the cheese until nearly 9pm and he forgot about the chocolate until 10:30 by which time I'd already brushed my teeth and couldn't face eating it then having to go and brush my teeth again.
