Today's DD started out a 4-5 and has devolved into a 1-2.

I am so hungry and have eaten all the potatoes I had allotted for myself today. I am still under calories for 20%, so I could look around for a 100 calorie option, but it is only 4:30 and bed time should not, realistically, come for another 3.5 hours or so.

I know I will manage to "white knuckle" through somehow, but this is no fun.

Hope you manage to get through OK

My day was OK, i would give it a 4, i thought i felt hungry late afternoon but after drinking a bottle of diet cola i felt bloated and made it through to dinnertime. Had a massive pan of vegetable soup for dinner and added a can of tuna to it and that filled me up nicely. DH was eyeing it up and by the time i was on my third bowlful said "are you sure that's only 300-odd calories"

I have done hard boiled egg down days before and loved them! I am glad it works well for you! I think I may need to get some boiled to get me through the long holiday weekend with my family home eating all around me!

I am sorry you are having a difficult down day. They sure are no fun when they are extra hungry!

I was going to have another super low DD today but I gave in to a Skinny latte when running the kids around to their stuff. I am not sure what is going on with me lately, but UD or DD right now has been super hungry! Very annoying!!!

My DD is going well. I have had about 375 calories, so at and a bit over 20%. Still thinking about having a higher DD. Will probably have another 200 calories later.

Thanks for the support, everyone!

It's been 4 hours since my last post, and I am glad to report that things have turned (again!), and I am now once again feeling about a 4 or 5 about today!

I think it is good for me to remember that I had this kind of a "rough patch" so that I know it will pass if I can find a way to wait it out.

Learning curve, and all that.

Today is a big fat negative 5. I didn't get any sleep last night and I'm having prolonged complications from my ruptured cyst so today has been a rough day. I went over my calories and I'm not upset about that, but I'm frustrated that I had to skip the gym and will most likely be on bed rest over the long weekend. Sorry just having a grumpy day.

Yeah, I guess. Most schools of thought around here seem to think less is best, so I will find out the hard way. Super annoyed right now because it seems like it's going to break the bank to get my air conditioning fixed. Just talked with someone who said it would cheaper to replace it than to have it repaired, even though it's covered under warranty!

Don't be in the least bit sorry. Complications from your cyst sound very sore. Look after yourself and get better as soon as practical.

For my DD today I upped my ptero to 100 mg. My head doesn't want to eat today, but my body does. I begin to experience trouble focusing if I don't eat something. Did hold out till 1 pm, so I'm satisfied. Calories so far 190. Doing well. And it's friday so it's a 5!

Feeling mostly ok so far. 100 cals so far in the form of a low carb shake, might make a stir fry for dinner tonight.... flying by the seat of my pants today.... we'll see.

Welcome back, Cindy!

Today's a 3+ DD for me so far. I haven't eaten anything yet, but I am hungry having been a naughty girl over the weekend and eating way way more carbs than I should have allowed myself. Carbs always turn on my hungry monster. I am looking forward to getting back on track and will make a concerted effort to behave at art class this evening.

Mines a 4 right now...only had 2 coffees with the So Delicious Coconut Creamer in it (1T is 10 calories). I'm always fine until around 1:00pm and then I start to need food or my headache comes on strong. My worst time on DDs is the evening when my stomach is gurgly. I was thinking about doing a potato day today...so do those of you who do those count out 500 calories of potatoes or do you just eat until satisfaction?

I'll give today a 4 I guess. I'm a little hungrier than I have been on DD's. Nothing terrible though. Mentally I am good and for me, that is always the strongest.

I haven't been eating until dinner time 6-7 pm usually on my DD. I always get through the day thinking I won't need to eat at all (only have coffee during day) and then dinner time comes and I start to feel very hungry and light headed, low energy. So I end up eating.

Yes, a 4 for me also. Like you lc-chica i try not to eat until 6-7pm, today it was 5pm but i'd done a lot of walking early this morning with work and was getting very peckish/light-headed.

3 both physically and appetite (head hunger rather than actual hunger).

Quite a lot of travel over the holiday weekend and a couple of mishaps led to 2 broken teeth and a damaged knee. Perhaps it's not surprising that I'm out of sorts.

SlowSure! I hope you're on the mend? What the heck happened?

I'm having a 5 today. Not at all hungry, but I do have a bit of an appetite. No problem. I've just asked myself how my stomach feels, and it's been happy, so no need to keep eating. I've had one coffee/hwc and a 100 cal yogurt. Mid afternoon I'll have another coffee and I think will make it to dinner easily. I love DDs like these!

I wish it had been cocktails, it would be less embarrassing.

Within a 24hr period it was: i) a tiny amount of super-crunchy crackling broke a lower tooth on one side ii) an olive stone broke an upper tooth on the other side iii) driver of a parked car opened the door on an adverse camber, couldn't control it and hit my knee.

I can't begin to think what my dental bills will be. I suppose the bruises on my leg would save on the cost of blue stockings tho'...

Had another shake, but still feel a grumbly tummy. Probably gonna have to call it quits now though, as I'm at 775. Oh! I can have some celery!

My tummy's grumbly today... Hanging in though! Trying to hold out for dinner til the rest of the family gets home. I hate it when they eat after I'm done for the day. LOL

Slow, ouch! I hope you're feeling better.

Welcome back Cindy!

Today was a 3. I didn't have much energy and of course that little voice in my head kept saying food will give you energy. I didn't listen, but it was there. Hit the gym after work, ran some errands before I go out of town this weekend and for dinner I tried Shirataki noodles for the first time. It was an interesting experience. I didn't hate them, but I'm not sure if I like them. I'll give them another try though.
