Bickering with everybody today!! Trying not to eat about it.
It's really not like me to be this argumentative. Holed up in my cubby so I don't 'splode all over everybody.

Loving the phrase "trying not to eat about it". Sorry you're having such a bad day - but this too shall pass, just like the DD; head down and get through it! Good luck!

Even at Public Health, CVD, or obesity-related meetings/conferences/events in the UK, there are Danish Pastries and similar set out for when the delegates arrive and then biscuits at tea breaks with a vast quantity of carbs for lunch (if catered) with cream-based desserts and then cakes for the afternoon. Participants at such meetings are the least likely to complain if catering just put out a selection of seasonal fruit or tiny containers of fruit salad tho' there might be some tutting for the form of it if pro-Lustig types saw grapes or bananas. Likewise, if the lunch were plates of crudités, with a simple protein available, then, it's tricky to envisage people besieging the caterers with complaints.

[/rant] [/Stop preaching to converted]

So, possibly, this start to a DD sees me a tad cranky Big barometric shifts in the UK - we're segueing with tiny time lapses between strong sun and thunderstorms with rain so heavy that it means you can't see out of a window. For migraineurs everywhere, this means that we're being followed around by axe men who keep splicing our heads until we can't tell the difference between lightning and a visual distortion.

I'm so much better off than I was this time last year (before I started the migraine control WOE) - and I now can't quite believe that I used to tolerate migraines on such a regular basis. I don't think I'd have them now if I hadn't triggered one over the weekend by Spring Cleaning which left me vulnerable to the weather-related ones.

Whine, whine. It will pass. I do tend to want something sweet when I've nausea but that should be my only struggle for this DD.

Trying to hold off as long as I can before I eat something. Was hoping to make it to dinner but I am going to have some of the WW vegetable soup I made for lunch.

SlowSure - We are having a pot luck on Friday which will be a DD for me so I am sure I will be cranky as well. I sit right beside where all the food will be and have to pass it on the way to the washroom. UGH!

I ended up with an MD yesterday, so trying again to have a good DD. I still feel a bit crankypants, but more like I can deal with it today. We shall see. I'm going to get my hair did tonight, so won't have an opportunity to eat dinner unless I have it at 5 pm, which I well may do!

Feeling super hungry this morning, so I'm ditching my lunch plan and going to the salad bar in our cafeteria for a similar amount of calories. I'll get a similar amount of protein and fiber, but more food volumetrically. Also, as I do on DDs, I'll split that lunch into two meals eaten 2-3 hours apart.

Today I think I will have a chicken salad with veggies and Kens Northern lite dressing. Broth, iced tea, and coffee with almond milk the rest of the day. I can do it!

Emmaliza - choice is yours - but if a DD turns in to a MD - I would normally have an UD as usual the next day - it's really tough doing UD, MD, DD in my mind!!! Hope you get through today okay!

I am doing pretty well today. I've had 90 calories all day, but plan to have a little London Broil (4 oz.) and some roasted summer squash for dinner. Yummy!

I ate up a little more than I should have today. I ate 8 pb pretzels (dumb) 140 cals, and 2 cups watermelon 90 cals, then after doing my callanetics and working out in the sun in the garden I was famished and felt off. So I ate 2 eggs, 4 pc turkey bacon, 6 lettuce leaves, tsp mayo, and 2 slices cheese.
Total of 840 cals + or - 50 for all day

On DD I just cant work out or else I get starving.

Finished up with 484 calories today. Not a bad DD and felt real good all day.

It wasn't hunger for me, I got unbearably cold, lightheaded and nauseous to the point where I had a couple of such bad episodes while cycling my commute that I had to stop and wrap myself in a survival blanket to continue.

We all vary - some people have no difficulties with fasted training/prolonged exertion.

Oh, wow Sure...
I get light headed also! I don't feel so much 'hunger' as just 'off'...but I know its because I'm hungry? Or perhaps I just guess that.
I am thinking perhaps I could have drank some broth and been ok now that it has passed. Perhaps I was off salt wise.

In his book, Dr. J warns against working out on DDs because of the low calories. For the plan, it's more important to keep to the DD calorie limit than to work out.

In the 2 years I did JUDDD, I worked out only on UDs. And it's actually better to work out on alternate days and give muscles a rest. I'm also hypothyroid and working out daily puts too much stress on low thyroid.

I'm pretty depressed. My dd is going well so far. But yesterday was supposed to be a dd. After stopping the diet for a few weeks due to hypoglycemia (I now know how to handle that), I was excited to get back on it because I really missed fasting. Instead, yesterday I ate twice my TDEE. On my dd! Junk food mostly. Just ate it all day. Finally I was mid-cookie when I realized I couldn't go on like that and I got up and threw it all in the trash. I feel good about just not buying that stuff anymore. But I feel terrible about being so out if control. I know JUDDD is forgiving and can be picked right back up the next day, which is what I'm doing now. I still feel terrible about it.
