A "4", I think. Much hungrier than on Monday, although it's not intolerable by any means. It's truly odd how some DDs I can sail through with nary a hunger pang, and other DDs, not so smooth.

Lawks but I've loathed today. It's not a hunger or similar problem but my eyesight is horribly blurred and there's a halo round most light sources.

I assume that I've having something like a pre-migraine because I ate an unusual amount of carbohydrate last night. Fair enough, but I'm a bit shocked if that's the case because altho' I no longer eat much carbohydrate because of the migraine management protocol, it was far from a huge amount (<45g in the one hit unless I badly miscalculated).

Home now. I may just make some soup to freeze for lunches and then have a bath before retiring with a DVD (if only I had Frozen ).

Sorry you're feeling badly today Slow. You're so careful about your eating - I wish you had more flexibility though. Take care!

Migraine days are the worst! Hope you are able to ward off the pre-migraine symptoms before it becomes full-blown.

I'm having another 'pretty good' DD... I've been looking forward to the next meal today, but not starving. I can manage that!

After 2 UDs in a row, that's surprising! Although they were mindful UDs... DDs are always harder when I've gone 'over the top' the day before.

Mine's at a 4 right now. It has been harder than my previous several DDs. Could be because I ate some of my calories for lunch instead of waiting until dinner time, but I'm going to make it. I plan to experiment again on Friday with lunch and see if it's a repeat of today. If so, I'll need to go back to the dinner only strategy.

I woke up feeling amazing this morning. I was totally looking forward to my DD today since I overate carbs last night (pad thai and a cookie of all things!) and felt ill. So maybe I was just in the right mind frame. Or maybe JUDDD magic is kicking back in. Also I got 7 hours on my sleep apnea machine which is so, so rare for me. But oh my gosh, this is what I feel like I have been missing for YEARS! This is what living feels like! I feel alive today for the first time in a really, really long time. I do think it's the combination of getting quality sleep (gosh really can't overstate how important sleep is to your whole well being) and that JUDDD magic kicking in. Maybe some good endorphins too from my work-out this morning. Can't explain it, I'm just happy today. And totally not interested in food. I'm sure I'll eat dinner but I think I'm going to spend my lunch break shopping. I just feel like I deserve it today.

It's still pretty early here to rate the day yet, but what the heck. I'll give it a 5 at the moment. I had a super satisfying UD yesterday and when that happens, it's a joy to move into the next DD.

Today so far is an easy 5. I had a can of tuna on a green salad with balsamic vinegar for lunch and feel satisfied. It's been a relaxing day, mostly reading. I feel really calm and peaceful.

I'm excited going into my first DD this week. (I do 4:3.) The weekend turned out very well. I had the treats I wanted, but counted my calories and stayed within my range. This morning I was even down a little bit, so I'm hopeful that this week I'll progress a little closer to my goal. I've planned 441 calories for the day. Lately I've been sticking to my planned menus, so I feel positive about today.

I'm baaaack.

Hi Juddd Buddds!

Just finished up my third successful DD (Sunday) and I'm checking in. I waffled so badly last time, I couldn't show my face until I knew I could do it again. Wonderful to see you all. I've re-started JUDDD by having only LC shakes for breakfast and lunch, then having my DD salad with chicken for dinner. Not thinking about preparing food until dinner has really helped me stay on track!

So far, so good! But, it's early yet! I've discovered this time that DD's aren't too bad.........but, UD's are nuts sometimes!!!! Yesterday, I did NOT behave myself & we had guests for dinner. 'Nuff said.

Yay, Blonde and Shari are back! It's so great to see all the returners.

DD #4 here. I can't decide whether to have zero calories until dinnertime, or just push through for zero calories all day. I've never done it. But somehow today feels like a good day to do it, and like I actually could. I'll just see how it goes as the day goes by. No biggie if I decide to have up to 500 later.

Carol, I waited til dinner to have a salad with crabmeat. It was so yummy. I got so empty feeling a little while ago & knew that I needed some protein. So, I wrapped a little thin sliced ham in a couple of romaine lettuce leaves & I'm good the rest of the night! This DD is in the books!

Sunday was supposed to be a DD but my friend returned from a month away and we made a day of church, breakfast and shopping. Result UD.

Yesterday was going to be a DD do-over but I talked myself into another UD because I have a lunch plans Weds and could just see the same problem coming around.

So here goes my third day in a row starting a DD. When I was doctoring they would say clear liquids only sometimes for days and I would just do it. So that is my approach today. Doctors orders. This is for my health.

Hi Ladies!!

DD number 4! It's 6:30am so no problems so far! I work today so that makes it a little easier, even though I work in a restaurant, but staying busy really helps. The plan? LC Shake this morning before work, LC shake during work (or after) depending on my hunger level...then salad w/ grilled chicken for dinner.

I can only do DD's on weekdays for this reason! Glad you are getting back into the swing of things Blonde! I am going to sub to your journal right now, I love reading the journals of JB's.
