Just about mid-day now. I had some uncomfortable tummy growls about an hour ago and it bummed me out because I haven't had that kind of hungry feeling on a DD for a while.

Just glugged down some water and it's ok now.

I'm gonna give today a 4 right now and hope it gets better.

Job will come open in June, so I've got a while to prep. I'll be competing with some pretty competent people, thus anxiety and thus wanting to eat. Grrrr.

Today I'm a 4 but only because I have a toothache. Had to switch my rotations so today is my second down day in a row. I'm doing amazingly well considering that. Not too hungry at all so I'm very pleased.

It's so great to come here on a DD and to know we are all in this together. I was gonna say "misery loves company." But actually, DDs are not misery at all. I just love company whenever, wherever when it comes to calorie restriction.

DH had the most insanely fragrant lunch. It involved some prepared garlic/butter bread he bought at the store and toasted in the toaster oven. I had to run into the bedroom and close the door and hide! My tummy started growling and my mouth salivating.

Now I have lit some perfume smelling candles to get the smell out! I cannot bear it! I soooooooooooooooo much prefer the DDs when he is out of town at a business meeting and I can have the house to myself with no tempting food smells. Yikes!

I having a good DD today. Replaying Cindy's mantra in my head over and over.
"Down Days are the cement that holds JUDDD together."
I fit into a top I haven't worn in over 5 years. It is a sweatshirt but w/ a drawstring that adjusts at the waist to avoid the whole baggy thing. I love it and am so glad I tried it on before winter is gone for good.
Wearing it today makes each and every DD worth it ~ especially this one!
Big hugs.

Homeward bound after difficult few days - glad this week is over.

Hunger is not an issue but everything else is off-kilter so probably a 3.

Well, it's sunny and I will kayak tomorrow.

Well how could I have forgotten that we were going to see the legend that is Buddy Greco this evening! So I had rocket with mozzarella to start and fillet steak and frites for my Amin. And red wine.

I was in the presence of greatness. He is 87. Amazing evening.

For me, it seems like it should be later in the day! DH woke me at 5 this morning. Not the time I like to get up, really. I couldn't go back to sleep so I had coffee, did some house work and trying to decide if I want to conquer the dreaded closet in what should be our guest room.

So, I'm feelin' a 5 right now for my DD but we shall see how it goes. Hoping to be able to nap this afternoon.

Sunny and mild here in the mid-south, too. I'm having a lazy day, drinking tea with lemon and planning on no food till dinner, which is at a New Orleans style restaurant. Several New Orleans restauranteurs restarted up here after Katrina, and I believe this was one. What I remember from another visit several years ago was lots of fried stuff, so even though I experimented this week with my real JUDDD numbers (instead of 1500/500), if I go to 500 today, I'll call it okay.

A hard one for me today... Weekends always are tougher...
Hungry, and I have a headache. I've had 2 cups of coffee and some tea so far. I really want to go back to bed, or stuff my face. So far, I'm holding out though. I keep reminding myself that I'm looking forward to tomorrow's dinner. We have plans for steak and cheesy potatoes tomorrow. I won't enjoy it as much if I give in today, so that's keeping me "good" so far.

Off to have a bit of protein though... Probably Greek yogurt.

Okay, so I had a great New Orleans meal for 308 calories. It included grilled pork chop, collards, red beans and rice, and a stolen piece of fried plantain from dh's plate.

Ok so far. Slept in until almost noon! Still catching up on jet lag sleep.
Had a coffee, planning on getting the rest of my cals at dinner time so my belly isn't rumbling for bedtime. Soooo don't want to go to work tomorrow, but that's life I suppose.

What a luxurious DD dinner I just had. Ham sandwich on a giant bulkie with a slice of cheese and a bowl of Progresso light creamy potato bacon soup. Only at 400 so can still have my snack tonight!

Today I decided it was easier not to eat than to eat and stop.
So far I've had a bite of Cottage Cheese w/ morning meds and diet coke.
It is nearly 7 PM so not too long to go.
I'm not suffering at all. Any hunger seems to be only in my head.
I'll give today a 5+
Hugs all around.
